Japan Debt already has been warned by Moody's for downgrade..

Dunno about current safe haven status, but GOLD down and EUR up?

This is an Absurd anyway you look at... Let's see and wait for Spain

and Portugal going underwater in short order..

what do you think about usd index
completely irrelevant?
i don't see any reason for usd to go down more ( fundamental )
and i think that there is no way for ECB to rise the rates.
so i guess we will be going up till 3.03 then down
the situation right now is completely strange for me
lets see

totally agree, unless you are sitting on the banks board you dont know what they are goign to do and then you cant trade it anway so react to what the charts are telling us and take a ride, who cares what directon so long as you have the right ticket for the ride.

If you haven't already done so, you should familiarize yourself with the composition of the DX (NY Board of Trade's specs for the index contract would probably be a good source). The DX is not irrelevant; its correlation (the stat guys would say cointegration, because there is causative, perhaps tradable, effect) with the E/D is nearly perfect, and it provides information about JPY, among other pairs, as well.

Depends on the TF, as always. Look at a 2 week chart: it has "quietly" put on 400 pips since the 14-th low, relentlessly uptrending, except for quick, sharp, "shake and bake" events every 48 hours to get enough new short liquidity to take it up another notch.

Charts do Lie all the time, I mean they lie more than 50/50 for sure.
EU target 1.35, at least for me.. ( I don't trade daily anymore, just wait and collect $$$) NO way EUR will go over 1.40,

No Freaking WAY! Basically it's ready to tank now.. Unless it's a Pink sheet stock )))

As soon as China (I think) accomplishes whatever it is trying to do. Why do I think this? The higher the Euro, the more attractive cheap Chinese goods become more attractive to Europeans. Im sure there is alot more to it.
One thing for sure is that the higher the Euro, the more it strangles the Euro Zone. Higher Euro= More Riots. Rate increase would be suicide for the PIIGS and the rest of the farm.

every time we touch the trend line on usd index eur/usd is going down sharply
lets see what will happen now.
i am usd bull , if i am wrong it will be not the first and not the last time
the rates will not be risen for some time , ECB will decide that the current rise in prices are caused by outside condition and will end soon.

I agree with you.
It won't be long until EUR see's a sea of RED. I am long but want off this ride soon. imo
How about a double top on the Daily emerging? Maybe to 1.385-?

Euro Nations buying up Oil with Euro & not USD, once everything settles back down, euros will be traded for USD & normal cash flow, I am shorting 1 lot every 100 pips up unless we get passed 1.4281, then I am stopped out.

who knows what it will touch, but as soon as the 'oil' situation settles down and people realize that the restructured debt outweighs a measly interest rate change, then I think that it will converge down.

Euro-Union, another example of why having separate fiscal systems but the same monetary system is a bad bad bad idea. Inflation in Germany, but of course, who cares if a 'poorer' country has more expensive loans ... that can't possibly lead to a bad scenario.
