commodity pairs led the euro in the past on a leash. the aud here seems to be slipping. its worth keeping an eye on. a wick has poked a hole. worth keeping an eye no matter your bias. pairs have spent months equalizing.

i may have already missed a chance to short the ea.. long term
eu closed above 3667 so im bullish up till 3712.5 19.5 33 recent high and now 3640/57.5

I know several traders which say that, but at least if you have been profitable demo trading you know what actually works and not

There is a lot of articles and books which are misleading in this business. Off course this is my opinion alone but I assume that I am not alone thinking about that...

Just look at risk reward, probably the biggest myth when you see traders with good results. Many of them have 4:1 risk reward levels which is a big nono... But it works for them and in the end that is what matters.

The only rules I have in Forex is set SL and use proper money management. Thats it... The rest I tweak as I want...

I have also met a few traders who will take 10% floating loss and still make boats of money.

If I may budge in, my advice would be to trade small lots, so you do not overleverage your account. And when you are consistent and have a traders ethic of working the capital, ONLY then you should size up your lots.

Could you please explain to a newbie about the risk:reward myth?

As I understand it, it means that if you say have 4:1 reward:risk, it means that you only need to be right 25% of the time to break even. Please enlighten me.

the euro is the anti usd... so when commodities rise (commodity pairs) the usd goes down. in turn the euro rises. but not on its on merits.
