Price is just bouncing off of the R1 looking to hit the DP. Short.

May bull if very strong in nature from very little retrace but not think & abc correction down to 3612 may be there to find d turing point for the bull & so short there for that level or around .chart posted before .

Have been almost there, brother.

Somewhere in one of my old postings I stated, that I sometimes try to get the tops or bottoms to hit the homerun. And everytime I have to wipe out the losses with scalping.

Scalping (or better short swing trading) is out of my sight the best and safest method to trade Forex. Very tight SL and only take what you can get without much risk.

I know: oftentimes people think I do mainly long time trades or do trade on the hourly because of my Elliott Wave analysis. But that is not true. I mainly trade the 1 and 5min.

In the middle of last year I tried more to get the huge swings but discovered, that I was not made for it.

Since PTL is around, I'll tell this story. Jerry Goodman wrote in The Money Game about being taken into a large long cocoa trade by a big speculator. "No cocoa, black pod disease," he was told. Doesn't apply to earthquakes, but not so sure about Libya. And there certainly seem to be more than a few bureaucrats and politicians who seem to like 36 and 37 handles on their little currency, and the "the rates are coming" appears to be a pretty good meme to put it there.

The EUR remains as sick as a dog, and as treacherous as he11.

It does help. Not that I have digested it in one bite, but it helps. The basic takeaway, at least for now, is to distinguish between monthly, weekly and intraday movement, and to "see" the patterns but not mistake or confuse them...

Needs further digestion.

Nice one OQ, will have to put it on my reading list. Cocoa is the market that I earned my stripes as a margin clerk. I recall just being promoted to desk manager and the margin was about 400 maintence/650 initial I want to say. My run was long up the wazoo, and low and behold, I walk in one day and see an opening call of about $1000 lower on some news out of Africa. I couldnt call people fast enough to give them their calls. The owner of the firm and head risk manager where both out. So I just ran through my sheets and added up all the longs on call, and sold about 500 on one ticket, and figured I'd take my chances. Lol, it was the high of the opening range, and day, about $1200 lower. One of the best trades of my career, and not a single car was mine. Lol.

PS how did you come out of today's mess brother...
