Reading the new stream, it looks like the reason the Libyan situation is not having a profound effect on the EUR, or that much on oil, is that the speculation is that it's pretty much a done deal at this point.

The London embassy has replaced the Libyan flag with the protester's; ambassadors around the world are repudiating the government, the ambassador to the Arab League is calling for trials, etc. Probably won't be too long until the military decides it needs to take control itself.

It is apparently very bloody in Libya, but the result is appearing more certain, at least from the news. Oh, and Libyan TV has confirmed that aircraft did open fire on protesters.

all supportive of ''daily''...

i took one trade to sell short eur/usd because of bearish outside bar..you can see that in the picture..

i'm still waitnig to fill my order where i expect to make 100 pips or more and that is in the picture where i've drawn the box..

3679 break was important before again 3691 , but doing at least & may long time US bank holiday market & hence tp finally set 3696 , sl at be below 3670 & leaving the battle field for the day.may see playing here next morning !

lets see what happen or if any by overnight .

id rather trade the eur/cad.. cad is like the u.s., but with oil.. euro has a harder time getting a foothold over the cad or any commodity pair.
Canada has oil the ez does not. if the shit hits the fan europe and japan will pay more for energy.. its a big deal... transportation cost go higher.. oil is in all manufacturing cost... either its made with oil or delivered using oil.. it makes all things cost more.. so comes inflation... so they raise..... but when they cant export anything because of cost.. meanwhile food cost are still rising.. the cheaper usd is setting the world straight.. we beat china at its own game w/o firing a shot. opec fails.. then we exchange usd for food.. to bring them back home.

immediate trend is up. however, the odds favor a daily close below 3680. should that happen 3646 is very likely to get breached tomorrow. that will make for day with a greater level of uncertainty.

agree....but the reason i want to buy at that box is this...the daily trend is upward .. higher high, higher low... if thatis the case then i want to buy low...which means, i want to buy just above the low of yesterday.. (in this case it happens to be nearly the same low for 2 days).

if price continues to go down it has to 1) break 2 days low 2) go against the current trend .

This I consider a low-risk entry. If I enter a trade, I have a rule

"It must give me profit in the next bar, or maximum second bar. If not, something is wrong and I either put to break even or get out. I do not sit around and watch 5 or 6 bars close and still see no profit. If I enter on daily, I want profit next day or the day after...if i enter 4 hours i want profit within 8 hours..."
