Impressive, but that's why I said the way I trade doesn't work in casino's.
If you double every bet you would run into the maximum after 12 times I think, at least that is the limit in the Netherlands were I was born and made the most casino visits.
Now I don't go to casino's anymore, because forex is way better.

And as Cloggie points out, when you look at Martingales from the house's perspective, even if red comes up, they're just giving the player back his own money (plus 1). If the black continues, and the house limit or the bettor's capital forces him to stop, they never have to give it back. They love Martingale players.

40+ times consecutive black or red are not unheard of. most people think another black or red in a row as more improbable. this justs shows the average human is poorly equipped to deal with probabilities in a bayesian way.

I thought 30s, even 40s are not that rare.

Well said even if the chance of it happen is
0.0000000000009 percent. Not very likely. The problem occurs if you base you decision on the previous row of red and black.
