I think most people who have success with trading end up spending less and less time trading and therefore spend less and less time on forums answering the same old questions that have been covered hundreds of times a lot of time within the same thread. It just gets old. I don't know if I am all that successful of a trader but it has paid for my house, my cars and allows me the freedom not to have to work ever again should I choose not to.

I find that most people really don't want to put in the time and effort required to get good at trading and even those that have some success when they hit a rough patch, and we all do, they are never able to recover for whatever reason. You can find threads all over the place on FF of traders that seemed to be doing well and then they hit a rough patch and then disappeared after a while. If your gonna do this you have to be able to repeatedly pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back in the game. The problem is most people can't do this whether it be a person that called themselves a trader or someone who just got laid off and they let the baggage of yesterday prevent them from moving forward.

Well said endroute. Thanks for your posts. Having you and kostas here really keeps me away for "it can't be done" disease. Your giving time here well appreciated.

If this pair is going higher, be careful around R1 and 1.6300, as this was the high for this pair last November.

I just checked the USDCAD for constraint and, well you might wanna call the paramedics..... I think it's in a coma!

I have just joined FF. Have been following the Choros for a while now, and it seems to be a very good system, if you follow the rules. I have placed a few trades that didn't follow the rules. You don't need a degree to know what happened. The price of learning!

Welcome to the thread!

EU is looking more promising that Cable or the Aussie, but I want to see the 35/50 steeper on M15.

The short side is not pretty as you have all the HTF MAs down there to mess with and the Euro is the only one looking to go long, sort of anyway (didn't like that spike).

If GBPUSD tries really hard it could touch the 1H 50 EMA. The angle is acceptable, I think.

It's very slow, I think US bank holiday has somethink to do with this.

Constrained on the 100 EMA at the moment.

Close to a confluence of the Daily Pivot, H1 35, H4 10 then a small drop to RN, H1 50 and 200.

That's a lot of chop fodder if there is no momentum.

GU had a good entry for about 20 pips at the 1H 35 SMA. I didn't take that and now i'm waiting for 1H 50 EMA test to enter for some pips. I expect some decent move up after this, despite the bank holiday. If not, you can always quit a small loss It is also possible to turn lower - to the support at 1.6180/85, which is pretty clear on a 4H chart, before it bounces for a test of that 1.6300 to take the stops of the shorts taken in the last days...
Better to lose opportunity, rather than capital !

The support area is also a confluence with the H1 62, the Daily S3 on my chart, the H4 10, and its a 62 fib retrace from the last big swing low, and a 38 fib retracement on the swing low before that.

duffypratt thanks for the additional supports that you have mentioned, but on my chart 4H 10 EMA is at 1.6112 right now. How ever if the price reaches 1.6200 i will seek for a 1M or 5M confirmation to enter long, If my entry price is 20 pips or closer to the 1.6180, the SL will be bellow that level. Half size lot possible, but this will be clear when we are closer to the 1.62 area.

On one hour chart we see a forming flag, so i would prefer longs here, despite that the 15M chart shows some shorts in the short term.
Better to lose opportunity, rather than capital !
