Very funny gass, I took this off the Forex Factory's market page. I think this is New York time on the opening sessions. My point is that the best time to trade is the London and NY time frames after that they slow down or are affected by the broker more than volume in trading. This is not all the time just most of the time. These openings are called the Sweet spots. My time is pacific standard which makes them at 11:00pm or midnight and 6:00am. I think my times are correct but you can double check. Patients is really needed out of those Sweet spots. I know I've seen some setups that want to be entered but they don't always move very far. London and NY are the most active with volume. Volume does move markets. I hope this helps a little Fitt.

Sometimes its about connecting all the dots.If you drew a trend line on daily chart at time of post the pair seemed destined to reach this.Maybe now is time to short. Don`t despair.

The set-up for this trade begins at the start of ones new trading day. As has been pointed out, this will/can vary depending on your broker. I'm not positive, but I think this puts us in the middle of Asia and about 8 hours or so before London. I was wondering what dynamics were considered in establishing this as a starting point to monitor the 4C, and if any in particular are unique to "daybreak"? I'm sure the players in Tokyo are getting their orders in - especially Yen - before their close, therefore PA. Is it possible the same dynamics exist at the London / New York open, because if so, the same trading method could also be effective during those "sweet spots". The only & perhaps biggest concern "I" can think of is what range price has moved in relation to its ADR, but then, I'm not sure of the original dynamics. From what I'm seeing, the range for the BO is less than it was a year or 2 ago, which to me just suggests: 1) a smaller target is prudent and 2) reversal or channel trades may be our method d'jour as a result of market changes. Thoughts?
