Perhaps a bit off topic but what do you guys think of the merger thats screaming across all financial headlines (NYSE EURONEXT + DB) ...

Interesting times - I don't see this as being a plus for anything to be honest with you, esp. equities. It denotes a sign that something's wrong, it shows a sign of weakness on someone's behalf (prob. NYSE) ... I expect market participants to enter a stage of confusion and hence pair back bets on risky endeavors.

Expect capital outflows throughout the remainder of the week from "risky countries."

84.00 level in USD/JPY will become a major resistance if the double no touch option at 80.00/84.00 remains intact into next week

Everything is a matter of perspective, Dukascopy's survey of 4 banks puts Ninja at 85 within 6m & 90 within 12m on average. I say we reach 90 within 6 months if not quicker.
Prices oscillate, trends persist. Trend is your friend.

I also see 100 as a possibility, but need to see what happens at 90.

Think I might go on with EUR/JPY, hate losing you guys in this thread, but it's always the USD which is bordering me in my UJ longs
