but anyway look at a daily chart or just hear these prices

here are the 3 major peaks

1 1.51400 in 12/3/09

2 1.42811 in 11/4/10

3 1.38605 in 2/02/11

doesnt seem the euro will magically move higher.

if you look at the chart as a chart pattern trader : look at the three peeks i this trend " head and shoulders formation" or " three peek"

if you like technical analysis: Parabollic SAR are on top, bollinger bands hit extreme/ or over bought at 1.38605

fibonacci projection at around 1.38 and major resistance at 1.38 were temporarily penetrated, to begin a sell off 2/08/11 a hammer formed
price moved upward to a fib projection 1.37434 then down its going

if it was to move upward the movement should have bridged and took out the 1.38249 peek. it didnt do it, it could i supposed but i dont see it likely


i ask my self these questions

1 why are people willing to sell below 5 yr average price?
2 and why are people buying lower and lower even on the last 3 rallies the peeks fell


i think 1.30 its a fair price to the euro and market agrees, look at the price before it moves up.

from 8/11/10-9/14/10 the market ranged about that price before moving up

11/30/10-1/11/11 that was about the range of the market 1.30-1.33 before it trended to 1.38249.

analyse the price and youll get the answer, i dont feel like learning to post a chart for your visual

go look up prices

i will stand corrected if i see the market ranging at about 1.35 for the next week or so the it found its new fair price. at that point an uptrend might start but doesnt look promising

July of 08 1.60'sh

november of 09 1.51'sh

november of 10 1.42 ish

While you figure out how to post a chart and participate here I'll answer a little of your questions.

First off- The buy/sell your betting on is a price offered by the banks for international money transfers and futures contracts.

Second- The bank is never under any obligation to sell you anything at any price.

Third-The real money movers (large corporations) don't give a rats a$$ about 500 pips. Moving money and hedging against future moves is the only reason to buy any currency. Edit: and interest

Forth-Banks always win. Find any price sold that is not covered in buys to prove me wrong.

Thats the damm truth my friend & o stated during his courtship with the fools in the U.S. when he became president America was going to stay out of other countries affairs & what does he do. He is an empty suit one man wrecking crew wrecking this country with every move he makes & its all by design. Carter never met a dictator he didn't just love to death.
Carter should have stuck to rasing peanuts & o should have stayed in Chicago & kept organizing communities.

Lets see if o takes credit for events in Egypt if it turns to sour grapes in the coming weeks.

On a sader note.........there is at least two yrs more of this bs to come.

On a bright note- it took Carter to get the US to ellect Reagan. Maybe this time we can do better and ellect a Libratarion constitutionalist.

That combination would be outstanding. It will take whoever is elected
two terms to clean up o's & his regimes mess & that might not be enough time. It is sad to see what he & his minions have done to this great country & all by design.

No. It only takes one term.

Don't fund anything thats not a constitution mandate (found in the constitution as the express duty of the federal gov.) and pass a constitution amendment that any elected official that votes for an un-constitution bill will spend 20 years at hard labor (no parole).

Interesting thought. But I offer another view.

The dollar is near it's all time low. It wants to be around $95. How does that stack up to where the euro is now?

And here's another thought. This pic is a weekly chart of the euro, and a 1000 period moving average.

The euro is still high over it's lifespan, it wants to be about 1.22 there. And if I do the 1k MA on the monthly, it wants to be at 1.13 to 1.15.

End of the day? Price goes where it's led, by the guys who move it there to make the most off of it. And it's not always about speculation

Just gotta be ready to stick and move with it, instead of against it.

Seems ok for 3580 limit up ( 3591 close price if consider ok, above suspecious for more up before down with truncated 5th , not think ) & movement down side next, may not more than 141 pips before retracement of pullback, may be 3380 , though breaks 3505 is a 350 pips potential & more .
