According to my opinion, TRY is a good pair to trade long-term. I trade both USD and EUR pairs in a range of 1.60-1.57 and 2.19-2.14. For traders, who look at different pairs, it might give some chances to trade those pairs according to the movements of EUR/USD; for example, the central bank tries to push the interest rates down (25 down in last month and 50 down two months ago), which simultaneously decreases the value of TRY of about 400 pips on that day. This month, it looks like the rates will be same or even up (not likely but possible) so it might give trading chances in both directions and extra wins for everybody. I bought EUR/TRY at @2.148 2 days ago; today it's at @2.182 and will sell it depending on EUR/USD move. The moves are linked with EUR/USD and might give clues for future EUR movement. Just a thought, but keep an eye on it, it sometimes helps..

will arrange positions depending on the decisions on the third week of Feb. If rates are same, then - for both. You can also follow stock market;
