Hi seniors here

Have been lurking around for some time but never really got time to actually do the hard work of going through the complete thread. Have gone through the few post and here are two quick questions from my previous exp if someone doesnt mind answering them.

1. About RSI- RSI for current candle will keep wingling till candle close. So i assume that we ignore current candles RSI value in deciding trend?

2. About trendlines- Any rules for drawing those trendlines? A strong proven trendline is fine but here we need trendlines with just two touches? That leads to infinite number of possibilities. (I mean any two points on charts can be connected by a line. Number of possibilities start reducing only if a third point also has to be in the line)

Thanks in advance for any possible replies.

Hi Survivor,

Welcome to the thread!
I will try to answer your questions as far as I understand.
LG and everyone please correct me if wrong.

1. Basically we look at the RSIs of 4H, daily and weekly to define the trend. It is explained very well by LG in the first post of the thread.
It is true that the RSI can change until the candle closes. However, when all RSIs point in the same direction it is a good setup, because it's a good indication of the overall trend.

2. If you are referring the the 3Tap H4 setup, we do require connecting 3 points ("Taps") to establish a trend. This is also discussed in the first post of the thread.

EURUSD is in CO BO! My sell has already been activated , but it turns out to be false BO !
end just got sl for -19 pips!

LG - my screen is showing the period separation different than the one you just posted for the GU pair. The difference is your separation is 2 hours (1H chart) before mine. This happens on all the charts you post vs mine. Accordingly to IBFX, the period is set for GMT & the separations refelct 00 on the time bar at bottom. Gonna attempt to submit a pic of what I'm seeing...here goes --
