I have read some of what was said about MP, but this is the interwebs, everything with a grain of salt...and I also know what was said about me in my stock days and how much of it was complete bullshit...

Much the same distinct quality as you find in a lot of the great traders around here and other houses, Mike picked no bones about letting you know if, when and how you went wrong in a trade. This, I admire.

You will find the odd hack that says, "Maybe it will come back to you", or "Add in to cost average your trade" and on and on and on...Yeah, everybody loves reassurance, but that ain't gunna pay the bills...

I might have got a touch of my outer crust from working with Mike...Maybe it is because of the time he had me commit to charting and observation and true styled analysis, maybe because of the logic instilled in my person because of the lessons I learned with him and without that makes me a little more passionate when I recognize bad behavior...

Bottom line is still the bottom line.

I don't claim to know it all, there are a lot of grander traders floating through the halls of the FF, but if I do say something, I do it with more of a purpose then malice.

Mike is still around last I checked...Where ever he goes, there will be those that follow...perhaps a loss to FF but not a loss to the Forex Community...

I chatted to him for a bit to, good bloke, completely mad, but the great ones generally are, never understood his method to many idiots making BS claims he was a scammer and spouting but Jacko says ( anyone heard if Jacko is doing is doing time for Fraud or not LOL ).

First, I like the way you think Ak4x. There are good and bad teaching methods. Some get better results than others. Bees are attracted to honey, but not to vinegar, or so goes the saying. Cloggie could use a little honey. He is way too direct for most people likes, but that's just his way. Many here seem to get distressed enough to the point of becoming unable to learn anything from him. Their loss, cause Cloggie sure knows his stuff and he's sharing freely. So guys, please keep focus on the lesson and not on the teachers' Dr House In Da House ways. Let's face it. We are all here trying to make money consistently. Think compounding, exponential account growth. Only very few achieve this goal, most of us don't. Consequently there are not many of us worth paying attention to in here. If some of those few such as Cloggie, The Fool, or Tarantula (just to name a few good ones that are around lately) take their time to share some of their knowledge/experience with us it would only be wise from us to use that information for our benefit and show some appreciation/respect in return. And please note, I'm not talking about following their calls (these are free fish), I'm talking about about getting an insight into how they make those calls (learning to fish by ourselves). After all these are guys who are able to transform their trading knowledge/experience into wealth. It would only be smart from us to grab the education they are handing freely and learn to transform it into wealth for ourselves. So guys, please try to keep your ego away from your dreams. I don't mind being called a 'muppet' as long as I get the tools to become consistently in profit. The rest is history.

i am fully trading his method and maybe that's why it's so difficult for me to post any analysis here. you probably know what i am talking about. and yes, i can attest that his method is extremely heavy and it takes a pretty long time to figure it out. once done however, you have the keys to the market.

1 of the things he used to keep repeating finally made sense over the last week, he would never explain what he meant sadly.

* well hopefully!!! ( I know Magix so Magix's word on this is all I need )

His method is to heavy for me, I need simple or with the other 500 annoying things I've always got going on at once I get burnt out then screw it up, but always bits you can leach of people.

The same time as MP was falsely accused of being a scammer and ran off the site, Jacko had GOD status around here by the people that was running MP off the site, I think they owe some pretty huge apologies.

And that is probably not enought. NO doubt Jacko was the forums prodical son for along time @ the expense of others, but I must confess for a time I found Jacko almost believeable. Even after over 20 yrs in this business I was almost snowed too.

The ones that seem mad are generally the good guys it's the quite smarmy smooth talkers you've got to watch out for.

That and calling huge intraday moves all of a H4 chart after the fact ofcourse totally laughable.

i didn't know these about jacko. i looked at his thread once but when he started asking for fees, i packed my bags and left. btw if you looked into his method, was that any good?

Nah standard BS, that's preached on here by everyone which no 1 is making any real money off, wasn't working for him was it.

Why try to teach people stuff that works you only create enemies, offer to teach them what they already believe to work, but can't master yet, because it doesn't and they'll lap it up and hand over the keys to there house rather than accepting there method won't work.

People are dumb, there fault for handing over there money really, personal responsibility and all.

You know Cloggie says himself for those who don't like his calls or the way he communicates to put his butt on their ignore list. At least he gives advise to those who have an axe to grind to shut him up that way. He even has it as his signature in blue letters.
But in reality some like to banter with him so much because like him trading is a solo, lone wolf job with long waiting times so lets spar with somebody to keep from the isolation, boredom or sleep.
Being ruff and hard sometimes comes from being ripped off over the years from the big boys, the insiders, the market makers. If you haven't lost 1,000 or 10,000 or 20,000 or 50,000 or shall I keep going on, of your hard earned money by the slickster at the banks and your not mad you probably enjoy gambling and just giving your money away saying: "Well I had a good time." Get mad and start thinking that your gonna get screwed if you put a loosing trade and some punk weasel at the bank is laughing at you behind your back and hoping he can string you along just to get you again the next day cause the house always wins in the long run. Think hard. Get smart.
We ought to stick together on this EURUSD thread and make it a profitable one. Make this addiction or chore pay for itself. Don't take it out on each other.
Some banter is good for the mind though. But I digress...
