CNBC says "Crude oil prices surged, stocks fell around the world and the dollar gained Friday as street battles in Egypt riveted investors and raised concerns the protests will spread across the Middle East".......is that true?

Geo-political instability always has effects on the markets; risk rises.

Egypt in particular is a cause for concern for several reasons, two of which are: Suez, and the states with whom they share border.

Yes, that's true, and has been for many centuries. But on the other side of the equation are, beyond the government of Egypt, among others: Saudi Arabia, the Gulf emirates, Kuwait, Jordon, Algeria, Israel, Russia, and the European Union. Oh yeah, and the United States.

lets see how it plays weekend while H1 bear rally 7th candle in play & can expect 2 more candles close down .8th , 9th ranging type but have no room ranging above this level , may abort though .

I also closed my EURUSD position; will be keeping a close eye on TV for political news coming from Africa and see how it might affect USD coming week. Have a Good weekend everyone....

I wont predict anything for the next week but there is 1 thing for sure. Some of USD strenght is due to JPY weakness and Japan debts.

I will analyze the markets next week just before London opens.

If u watched my Live trading here, U will notice that I Projected 3750-3770. PA touched 3744 but I have scaled out @ 3733. I missed my TP for 6 points LOL

No LIVE trades afterwards except some GU scalps but I didnt post. I have been keeping updates of my trades on forum just in case people follow me.

40 pips trade call. It was all before London noon.

stick to trading my friend... I have just gone back and looked at Tarantula's postings over the past weeks and he is not one you should take issue with. he has posted levels including stops and TPs.

I think it best to stick to trading here and not gloating/thumping ones chest... that is if one takes his/her trading seriously like many do (even those of us that don't interact/post often)

that said, I'm happy with todays outcome against the 61.8 fib level and reaching the hourly 200ma (chart posted some 16hrs ago)

I never take a trade based on anyones posts but try to learn from your charts and explanations of why you are taking a trade.

The fact I didnt trade after London noon close proves that London session was all mine.

Long and long...thou not so many pips I have had earlier but still im ok with it.

Take a look at the week before. More then 250+ pips of Live trading.
