And technically we should have seen 3750-3770 so far. And defo with a fundie trigger.

All depends on GDP, the general consensus is a slightly better number due to exports and manufacturing, however the caveat is the weather in Q4 as that would have kept construction/services down.

So my play for GDP is simple, a good number; risk on, we are going up, number on target; whipsaws and not taking out the stops on top, bad number; risk of, we are going down.

I will keep a close eye on es/dow/gold and ignoring oil as that is still driven by the OPEC this week and not by techs/fundies

I don't have a crystal ball, and I'm not making any calls. I do want to say that it's funny how much belief there is right now that this pair cannot go down. Even to the point of actually taunting bears.

How many bulls do you think are over leveraged right now?

I agree to some extend. However not all traders are watching a longer timeframe and I can bet whatever you want that in most intraday charts those are the most far left point in the tiny charts. Also small swing traders most of time will trail and tight stop there before news.

In any case,yes 1.378x is the proper place for bear stops in my books too.

Thats what I am looking for too. Agree with the rest. I have been following correlated markets and the pair is lagging and fundies will trigger the end of the week.

i currently agree on pretty much anything according to the numbers coming out, the influence of weather, even Davos... but then again, I have that "line" here, that's whispering to me, "they obey me".
