OK ...

One hour left until my connections will see its weekly closing/clôture ...

Not a big surprise ... but a little bit higher then traded from our side at least ... as we have had seen our major move projection as being done at 1.3563 - 1.3588 area ...

Dennoch hat mein System später einige kleine Justierungen bis in die Region von 1.36211 vorgenommen ...

New things and fresh input is looming for my systems ... although it was a lot of hard work ...

All eyes on closing/clôture ... end of week no. 3 ...

Today's result in multiple accounts with EUR/USD pair only (!) has been plus 4.9082% ... which is far beyond average on a daily basis ...

And only 114 order executions has been needed for that result ... in EUR/USD pair ...

Which means really not bad ...

So ist es nun mal ...

Overall the whole week and this whole month has not been bad to me until now ...


But my main hurdle is still waiting for me ... maybe 2011 will open the gate ...

2131 GMT [Dow Jones] The euro is benefiting from a widening of the yield spread of shorter-dated German bunds over equivalent Treasurys, said Scott Mather, head of global bond portfolio management at PIMCO in an interview with Dow Jones Newswires. The yield on the two-year German bund rose Friday to the highest level in more than a year. That widened its yield advantage over the two-year Treasury note, with the yield spread hitting 67.6 basis points on Friday, the widest level since January 2009, according to CQG. "This does boost the appeal of the euro," Mather said. "Interest-rate differentials [or carry trades] are often associated with currency moves."

to roll the dice. I'm going for down. Took a small short. If goes my way I will grab the pippage, if not well it usually retraces back the original position anyway. Not always but usually.

The simpliest data to predict was the Commercial long positions: they closed a lot of long positions. Last week they were very long and large traders were very short, so every one expected a short move. Usually large traders are right about the trend, but this week they have got it wrong and commercials, who usually get the trend wrong, were very happy to earn some money and so they closed loads of long positions
I think now no one wants to overbalance his position, the number of long positions is similar to the number of short ones. Maybe we'll se a boring market next week, with little moves instead of these big moves we have seen these days. However the 3-monht eurodollars says that the market is very bullish (take a look at the monthly chart, you can see that the bearish trend might end or might me already ended).
Something about the USD Index: two weeks before it was mostly short, last week it was bullish and now it is still bullish even if there is a little short movement (look at http://www.cftc.gov/dea/futures/deanybtsf.htm for details).

We don't have to go very far back in time to find other examples of the kind of relentless, seemingly ungrounded, trends in E/U that this week looks like, if we stand to close to the action. Look at one starting in June '10, following the last serious threat of a systemic breakdown of confidence in the currency. It really had two legs, ending in Nov, 24 handles higher than the trough. In context, we're around seven handles up just now.

But note, too, that when it did end, it didn't turn on a dime; there was ample time and signals to get oriented to the new direction, for anyone who had not become blinded by the market's directional bias. What I'm saying, then, is that it's probably not necessary to try to pick a top to this move, any more than it's necessary to try to explain why it's happening, or who is making it happen.

Position speculators are long by now, the positioned shorts will have (or should have) thrown in the towel by now, and there has been ample time and ranging price action that the dealers are likely not painfully short. This move doesn't "have to" do anything right now, and we don't have to try and second guess it.

I just made this chart. My first weekly in a long time. Its the most simple one I have. Bulls have it. Bears would be back with a close under 3285.

if there is still a little bit more juice. I just keep adding to my position and it should turn around big time sometime next week. Fundamentals are becoming worthless. Bad news and the market goes up. Good news and the market goes up. The big boys have a hold of this one and they are going to do what they're going to do. But even the big boys are so big. Eventually it won't be sustained and watch out below!
