COT data showing big boys are long US$ and short eur so they prob don't want eu going up from here no doubt as some stops could get triggered. TWT.

thanks for your views guys.

took the gbpjpy long at 131.54

sweated out the huge resistance at 131.60 for over an hour.
ultimately pulled out with +5 pips.
now, it's forged ahead to 132.00 !!
a little patience would have seen another 40 pips!

incidentally, the ADR is about 105 and was close to exhaustion at entry, now today's range is 130.

Must thank you more experienced guys, first full day of using the Acumen/EV approach and from a slow start took 73 pips in total and relatively stress free...it feels like i'm finally trading a decent plan.

Nice trade, sidefx. You really like the fibs, don't you? There've been various examples of fib trades on this thread, although to see them, one has to journey back in time, so to speak. I really don't know why we don't see more examples like this one, and I'm as much to blame as anybody else, because I see fib possibilities and then get distracted by other approaches.

...which is also the 38.2 retrace of the last swing (on the 15) Haven't taken this one, just watching and getting more used to the plan.

edit:...batted back by MR1, will it hold price off? probably not...higher price needed for the next leg down...but you never know.
edit: fwiw tgt confluence hit. The plan can still deliver in the 'quieter' times...i've noticed EU during Asia churning out pips albeit much slower PA, but then it's an easier read.

with ADR at 172 for today and a lot of pivots, 23 & 34 fib, 13EMA, 5900 psych around, at this time of day I cant see any more energy in any direction so am shutting down. A lot of time needed for what I believe will be small pips. Too risky after a good day!

Out of EU & GU this morning, i'm favouring GU. Interesting hrly pattern and below the DP on the 15, so i'm watching for the short setup.
