price still there & movement both side still possible . controversal camel not failed yet .confirm breaks at 3286 & 76 both & hold will bear win only for towards bottom 3250 & bull in bear set up good up may very possible then , failure at about top area to continue bear below 3240.
anyway trade to with caution , movement up or down both may start soon

How? There are no markets open to drive prices either way right now. I mean, it could happen... I just don't know how. I think we are stuck in a rut into asia open.

Very slowly in the wedge but there are every minute & going to end the wedge too , soon , that is not too far this minute movements . whatever slow it to go anywhere next .How long it can stagger within! me not doing & ready for a night journey to fro 250km .

looking how many people are willing this thing to go down,the surprise would be to bring it up and burn some accounts
As looking at weekly and monthly charts its showing that touch of 37-38 is still possible.And the rule number one in forex is everything is possible.

hey guys, kinda new here and I had a question. shorted eur/usd last night, up a nice amount now. Trying to get better with my money management skills so should I exit my position now and take the profit, set limit orders going long/short and see which one hits first for another ride? does that seem better than tightening the stop loss to break even and riding it out..potentially risking no profit?

I no longer carry any open positions through the weekend. There's too much event risk involved with an open position that I can't trade for 48 hours.
Sure, I've had some of those positions look might good on Sunday night but I've also had it go against me. It's cheaper and I sleep better by closing out my positions and reopening on Sunday. Plus it gives me the weekend to think about strategy for the next week.

Thanks for letting us know that short bias is back. I was uncomfortable with the long bias Sunday evening but was able to scalp a bit on the long side. Thankfully, I recognized that any short squeeze was over and flipped to the short side before the major downward movement. Plus, the news seems negative EUR once again.

yes, short/medium term i can see bias is to the downside. but based on what i see on weekly and monthly volumes, we are in an area that shows heavy buying; we may see quite a rally, maybe with a new 'temporary' top above 1.4281. it all depends on what happens when we test support again (mid 1.30).

Gator is this your short from 3307?

Just wondering if you eventually set a limit exit or if you've just been watching this manually and decided to exit off that move because you see a weak long signal now?

I saw you post in a Murrey math thread I was reading, out of interest do you use this in your trading at all? Would you recommend reading the entire thread? By ns karthik I think.

Cloggie,

If you're still about. Do you pay much attention to COT reports? Are these worth considering when trading? Also what's your view on the value of pivot points in western trading hours? Not finding them particularly useful myself.

Shorts seem to be the better play this week, imo. This setup might be getting recycled once too often and price blows topside but I learned long ago that I injury myself and my account if I try to out think the market.
