Sounds like everyone did well during London session. I went to bed with 5 open trades. Woke up and ALL had hit my TP. Even the long EURUSD trade that I was worried about. Lucky...not a good idea to have that many open trades.

This is a major sticking point for me....

I get into a winning trade and its up like 20-30pips...my exit if potentially further away at a major S/R or trendline to see where is might go and I think, right I'll hang on...its goes to 40...great i think and hang on...then it stalls...I wait and it starts to retrace...and retrace and I exit the trade at BE...or a small win or a small loss....

Never let a winning trade turn into a loser.

Once you see a retrace happening...get out. Don't even bother to calculate or think about what you "could have had". Get out, move on...Banking 20-40 pips with the way the market is acting the last few weeks is great. Bank 20-40 pips four or five times a week and soon you can make good extra income and maybe a living at this. With the way we trade here, 20-40 pips several times per week is no big deal.

quick 20 pips on Usd bad data ...i market is very hard to trade...maybe the best thing is to wait for monday gaps.
Lg do you know for some Ea which is reliable ?

Haven't you already had a really good week? You don't have to be in the market all the time. Wait until next week to start again and use this time to study setups and read.

I play with Geoff's EA, but I don't know that I would call it or any other EA reliable.

Lg in last two months i am behaving like a gambler .

i have two accounts open on a same broker,one on of them is a micro just to trade monday and Friday , the other is my main live account for trading.i have enetered by mistake on the good news from GBP in buy instead of sell on my main account and made 30 pips of loss, on account which shouldn't even be on.I just had to make a loss smaller!
i have been trying steves nannigbob autotraderV1, and it has been creating losses, but the manual nannigbob V1 version is good...are you going live with geoff ea

I have mixed accounts too. That's why I trade on two computers and do not demo trade on my live computer. I once placed a live trade thinking it was demo, which ended up costing me hundred's of dollars.

I do have Geoff's EA on a very small live account. But it is only for fun.

I wanted to stay out too, but then I concentrated on EURUSD an see, +70pips came out (real live trading) by three small trades Nice weekend to you!

Is the london trading session(which starts 3 am Jamaica's time) the best time to trade breakouts?
So that will be about midnight in Cali for Lawyer Girl.I see some consistent up or down trend (after confirmation of the RSI)after the opening of the london's session where you can capture a minimum of 15 pips.Can you confirm this Lawyer Girl?

Thanks for starting this thread. As a nonmember I have been following the posts with much interest. Decided to join to comment. Simplicity keeps me sane and the more I study price action the easier it gets. I'm learning a lot from this thread and post #548 sums it up for me. Thanks
