I missed the 140 breakout on eu & turn to cable instead. Managed to bank 60 pips for the effort, nothing spectacular. Sorts a few milk cans tho

Been following gold as of late, quick analysis to watch for ...

1. monthly ... we are headed to engulf last months candlestick which opened at 1383.53 & we already surpassed it's low

2. weekly ... last weeks candle {first week of the year} engulfed the December's last weeks candle {last week of the year} along with making a low below the Dec. low ...

3. daily ... we are heading to close with a spinning top which might be in line with 'da bears' ... & we broke long standing daily trend line support

4. with this can attribute to U.S. dollar rallying / strength & risk falling.

Just my opinion/analysis, 2cents, etc.

ALSO going short gold or silver always pays daily rollover so keep the short gold & silver as a carry trade.

development from yesterday to now.

the euro's back and appears to have found a bottom. time to find out, which central bank acts faster.

same view, but correction possibly later during asia. for now, it's ranging and i don't really doubt they will try to get the missing pips to 3390.8.

Once 1.3340 - 1.3320 has been taken out again ... it could collapse towards below 1.33 again ... but atm ... it will 'verharren' there ... erst mal für 'ne kleene Weile ...
