EUR/USD

Portugal’s moderately successful bond auction has help lift spirits in the region and through global markets, as it kept a bailout for the indebted country at bay. The EUR/USD has benefited from the easing fears over the debt crisis soaring over 100 pips on the day trading in line with broader markets. If the picture continues to brighten for the region we could see the pair look to re-establish its connection with risk, which had been weakening. Indeed, equity markets went from explaining 64% of price action a month ago to 55% as concerns grew that the PIIGS inability to pay their debts could impact the borrowing costs for the entire region and threaten future growth. The upcoming ECB rate decisions could put the focus back on yield expectations with inflation uncomfortably over the central bank’s 2% target. Currently, we see the outlook for interest rates accounting for 20% of volatility, which could change if policy makers change their prevailing rhetoric that” risks remain balanced”. The EUR/USD finds itself in a short-term range where 1.3400 is resistance which could be threatened by a hawkish President Trichet.

I find it amazing that EGO for some traders here requires an answer to posters that look for attention by posting rude remarks. It would be a good exercise in discipline to see how long you can go before the absolute need to reply. The ignore button is the easy way.

Just my opinion reading some of the posts here. I agree as a matter of principle to work together to be helpful in a civil way. Not one person enjoys being attacked or put down by another. Hda seems to have a nice way to deal with these issues.

Thats so true, but i dont let my losses run i do the first thing impatient when in profit..

How to overcome this??

I was long today from 2992 and tried one at 2985 and 2972... Closed with small profit, well the 85 was a loser..
