Yup. This last dip was an excellent time to load up some more longs though... and you could even have your stop moved to be now.

No it wasn't...this is just smoke and mirrors right now...noise and fluff put out for a small trade able range.

When these 2 lines cross...then you will find a buy op...

This is a 1m chart.

20/200EMA.

Watch for it. If you wanting to add, might well wait until the time is right....

I am hitting all short triggers until I see this cross....

Well ... you could start to do some preliminary pivot calculation for the next value date ...

As you know the meaning of those daily levels in the time between ... so this would not the big problem for you to try an estimation for your most convenient levels for the next Asian Session ...

Probably the best place to cash in instead of loading further imo.
140 is December's support & since the year opened crashing through it, this is atm a retest. Major trend is still pretty much down.

VENICE: Thats correct, but remember the mind was thinking short and is only looking for short even though the market is moving long. If one understands the parameters as to why the market is doing what its doing, that one will wait for the next perfect set up.

I would like to recommend that traders wait until after the bond sale closes tomorrow and the market sentiment becomes more clear.

The Expiry for the VANILLA OPTIONS for tomorrow and friday is 1.3200 and thats the highest. HINT HINT and on Monday of next week the options expiry ( THE HIGHEST ) is 1.3050 and the lowest is 1.2900 HINT HINT!!!!!

Apparently the crazy fall usdx have ended in the red ( beyound pullback ) zone & perhaps no further extension , at least a leg up before breakdown possible if really failed bull usdx & opposite eu.. when eu crazy stop ? hope soon .short there already .

Retail traders just don't get it and will continue to see the market with a major bias, the longer a trend has been established the longer it takes for a retailer to change his/her bias. I am looking at price topping out here and a short forming. I would not be buying at this price, this time of the day. Just keep the stops tight and look for obvious hurdles on the trade as they were on the way up.

If you set your H4 to London you can clearly see that a succesful retrace has been established, now we need some fundies to make it a proper reversal.

I am not going to trade this one, don't like the NY afternoon session, not enough volume going through.

Once my first target gets reached that I posted here a few days ago, a few more retailers will wake up to the prevailing direction, it may be too late by then.

Heh, it provides plenty of entertainment, all the muppets falling over each other to prove to the rest of the world that they are clueless.

I placed a half sized short here. another pending at 3180. fib 50% is at 3150 ish. key levels for me are 3128 and 3200. I will monitor this one closer.

You may just be goofing about this, but it's an opportunity for me to add to my mini-rant about "news" from last night.

Another reason we might want to suspect something like that report is the inclusion of "stop" and "take profit" in the report. Even if the position leaked, its very unlikely the "stop" would. The guys who take longer-term positions like that generally don't have either set -and for sure not "take profit"- at the time of entry. Targets, sure. Expectations, sure. VaR limits, yes. But pre-set prices, no.

CLOGGIE: you forgot to say HAT COAT DOOR - besides that though - you are correct. What I have found to be of some accuracy so far is these options expiry. The options expiry dates suggested that the market would retrace and it did. Now its suggesting that the market will be on its way back down by monday.

Well just have to wait and see.
