Good job , me waiting 2943 breaks to 2926 to if down to 2909/6 if possible to sit more . extremely time consuming days now with complex consolidation.

That 2942 has been my key level for days, Gator keeps harping on about it too, a big one for the week.

Volumes have still not returned to normal for the year yet, maybe another week or so before we get back to full strength again.

The market is still trying to give us that retrace, which makes it bouncy, bumpy and rangey at different levels, not easy to trade for the average noobie.

A retrace will be confirmed once we break 1.3007. I am still holding onto longs from an average of 2922

To senior members,

What is the learning point from this price action, except from staying away from the market and wait. Can this price action be predicted by some tool. I sometimes try using triangle to see that till what time it may go in consolidation BUT please teach more.

Go read the thread by the poster right below you "redsword" and lookup Trade Price's thread. Just read both from beginning to end, it will give you a great introduction to Price action. As to tools, most if not all are lagging and rubbish.

If you want a solution in a can, covered in a quick post, you are sh!t outta luck, it doesn't exist. There is nothing you can beg/borrow/steal/buy or borrow that will make you succesful, it takes dedication, hard work and a good dose of common sense.

No doubt . and consolidations are not for any good trading rather some scalping & give -take and may end total time loss till a good set up comes up. anyway for the sack of addiction that must trade everyday & at least can do taking gaurds on.
Wish happy trading for you and timely close also make it worth too .some up again .

Thanks Fontu, it has been a bit tricky in these last few days picking the right sort of trades, they are out there, one just needs to be patient.

Nah, not for me, that last trade was obvious. We are now entering the suckerszone.

I am finished for the day. 2970 will be the trigger for the NY afternoon. Don't go shorting this till it has been tested at least.

Hmm. I'm not to sure if that last long add at 2948 was a good idea at this point in time.

We'll be back for the Asia to see where things set.

Just made a new high on the 1h... but barely.. I'll be much more confident once we get over 2991.
