For example ... my last limit order for short has been at 1.29875 ... I just took partial profit on that (80% of last entry) now between 65 and 61) ... now only a small rest-runner in mkt ...
Then I can define a stop loss order at 1.3020 for that rest of positions if needed ... but I never use too close stops ...
Otherwise I can define tripple amount of rest running positions size on a seperated account section for beeing long if 1.3020 has been breached ...
I can say tripple amount buy entry stop if 1.3020 has been given ... or I can say tripple amount buy entry if 1.3020 is hit on ask ...
Or I can define a buy stop entry if a 15 min chart TF rate closes above 1.3020 ... etcetera ...
Then I can define various profit stops at higher levels for these executed tripple amount positions in seperated sections ... or even reversal stops at various higher levels again ... then those reversed positions will be added to my still running short positions in the "red zone" and this will lift my BE ...
And at the end I can reverse one big runner at higher levels - after taking profit and reverso then at a convenient level ...
Mostly I must not wait long time then and my previous small rest of positions as well as my new bigger reversos will come into green zone too ... then taking partial profits again ... and re-load or add ... etcetera ...
There are various methods to do such things ...
And while doing all this ... and it is such a great pleasure ... so that there is not much time left for this place here ...
So at least you should read your platform manuals ...

How do I create a stop loss order that cancels my original order?
The last time I did this, I had a LONG. I set a Limit Order I think that I pushed up as a trailing stop loss. Then that got triggered and I bloody had 2 open orders!! Anyone know how to do this so I can set proper TP orders?

Market so hard this days (At least for me)
Nothing can b sure about it, This days anything anything can happen.
I agree with you .
since 1 month I couldn't make any trade almost.
but today is the first day I see market starting to behave normally .
today I made my first trades in this year .
lets hope markets come back to its normal shape next week.

Leaving the desk for the rest of the day. Positioned long avg position @ 1.2896. Been adding longs since end of last week and all this week so far. Targeting 1.3250 firm.
Profit taking on the short side seems to have subdued but they may come back for another round of shorts >=1.3250. A lot of interest in the 1.2690 print and the 1.3250 print. It's just a matter of when and what handle gets touched first.. (both of these prices will print)
Nap then back by futures re-open.
