Lawgirl might I ask what made you get in when you did and why not sooner? The high close of my 4hr candle was 2544. I know you leave a buffer to protect from false breakouts and use 15min candles for entries. There was a nice 1hr bull candle that closed at 2551 followed by an indecision candle so I see why that would have kept people out but on the last break out why not enter on the break out of the daily high excluding that really long candle at 2563 which is alomst 20 pips higher than the 4hr break out level. Watching the break of this level we had a 15min candle close above it giving an entry at around 2580 (now 35 pips clear of 4hr break level).

Just trying to get my head wrapped around how you trade the break outs with repect to getting in after a certain move. Since price had already moved so much before getting in are you concerned that it may just range along to complete the day.

I had been watching it for a H1 BO. But the H4 BO was so decisive, I decided to get in. It remains to be seen if that was a good move or not. I decided last night because of the false BOs lately, to be more conservative with H1 BOs and the M15 charts. Likely to get fewer pips that way, but less false BOs.

IMHO, i don't like the PA in the 15M candles.
Not sure if price is just resting at this level before continuing up or reached a reverse point.

EDIT: i am 30 minutes in this trade and PA still going nowhere.
You needed a bigger stoploss, now it is going north in positive, but you got stopped out. How are you suppose to know.
//easy for me to say after the fact.
It all a guess, just need to figure out the odds of which way, how far it will go, how far it will pull back, where to put your stop so it doesnt get hit, and where to put your profit so it gets hit. Of course there is MM money mangement also.
I am still trying to figure it all out, but everyday we get a little smarter, wiser, hopefully

Ok, everyone was screaming that GPBUSD is going skyrocket on forex forums.i know from experience that 95% are wrong , and it is a good thing to bet against majority of retail traders lol. i have done something which is not by the LG rules but its working for now!

i have found a Resistance trend line from 11 nov , and placed a sell live trade on it , it was against M1, D1 H4, but that Tl was so many times respected that i had to take it in a account ! i have already moved trade in a 3pip + BE , and i am going to let it ride till it reach for support TL on Demarco indicator on other picture , and i will close it there.there i will place a buy trade , with a tight Sl -in a case that PA pierce thru the line ! Now cross my fingers , and execute the trade! i feel like a kid in a candy store
