I have a minor support line to be broken at 1.2904 and then it should be down. my platform did not show the low at 1.2873 earlier on. Glad you posted that chart

With Christmas bonus.. or even for themselves? or the year end leases are a better deal at years end. so all the usd that bought the beamers has to be converted to euros at the last weeks of the month. causing a euro spike. and now is that demand gone. demand gone so the banks have to tighten the ask spread. tightened spreads means banks compete more for less..usd generally flexes in January... just a thought.

It's not really conspiracy; the PRC government has been presenting favorable statements about the EZ since Christmas, and not just because BoC probably bought a lot with 32 or 33 handles.

They could be worried about it. "Made in China" stickers don't appear just in the US; Europe's a big, big market, and if the economies get sick from imposed austerity, taxes, credit squeezes, or people getting scared and pulling back on consumption, it could be costly.

like I said before, PPP, not worried about it at all, in the end of this rotation ... it will be at 'null'.

Wife & I take a trip every year, we are probably going to Europe this year for the sole fact that it could be 20-40% cheaper then last year.

it to down one leg towards 2884 bottom ac e,a or c defore decide next leg up but all within bear set up even go 2942 or little up , not think so easy though .

Weekly yes ... may target to below 1.2750 - 1.2730 zone ... as long as below weekly pivot near 1.3080/90 and monthly central pivot near 1.3280 area ...

I am new to EW but the first wave of a zig zag (red) should be an impulsive.
Any other scenario then zig zag is even more bulish.

< some times the retracements are not needed and this is it : usd has such a type of a run that it doesn't need any strong retrace but surely any big TF support are some heavy buying by gaints like china can turn it around but this possibility also sounds rare So its thumbs up for usd for atleast few weeks to come >

The rising opinion of EUR in the toilet is already starting to make me nervous. The first time I hear some hairdo on CNBC use the phrase "secular downtrend in the Euro,", I don't care what the analytics are saying, I'll flatten it out, 'cause that'll be the bottom.
