Look at the nummer of euro pairs, i do expect some more drop the following weekse and months as the economic situation here is really instable (i'm from belgium)

I was amazed at the number of euro pairs too KA..it's bad all over.

Forgive my ignorance, but from what i studied about the turtle method last year, i thought they used a breakout of 20 and 55 day periods. I haven't seen 40 days mentioned anywhere.
I'm not sure if he still posts, but in the journal section, there was a guy called Steviet, who basically traded a 55 breakout, using a 55ema and 55 sma. He had some pretty good results. He initiated a postion at the beginning of the month, depending on whether price was above or below the ma.

We are not going into Turtle trading in much depth here, but I have read that initially 20 day period was used, then 40, then other periods of time. For our purposes, I believe a 40 day period gives us enough history.

Also in EU trade ...hope to not get burned as with GPBUSD last week on gap trading !
