Yeah down in New Zealand we had a massive earthquake last year which shock down some buildings and continue to get big aftershocks. We lie on top of the boundary between two tectonic plates so we get earth quakes often but not usually this big.

Possible buy there with serious money, I will say idle money for interest of the sole party related to euro , to oppose for the name sake & create pressure to the balance may prevent unusual sky falling.they do not bother with , may hedge fund in others like gold ,silver etc.

Serious money but not smart money , smart money easily profit going through the trend that resume already breaks & hold with close price weekly tf at confirmation 1 :3449, confirmation 2: 3247, confirmation 3 : 3077 , confirmation 4 :2967 , confirmation 5: 2586 waiting ,confirmation6: 2331 waiting , final confirmation 7 : 1875 waiting.

so not seems price in consolidation to down still , so may the worst scenerio. sorry messy chart again created in the morning.

Hello,buddies.
I see traders posting that big money buying at certain levels .
Short term Maybe i see retrace .
But can anyone see a good reason with the current activities in europe and gbp why the eur currency is worth 30% more than a dollar and sterling is worth roughly 50% more than a dollar.

eur roughly 1.30 to $1.oo
gbp roughly £1.50 to $1.oo
Personally seeing as they are all having serious banking issues I think parity would be the fairest senario.
I struggle to find a reason for eur to reach 1.40--1.50 against the dollar.
The german finance minister said he expects a range for 2011 of 1.20 to 1.40 .I agree on the 1.20 but unless something changes soon i see 1.3000 too 1.3500 being the high of 2011 range .

may be they go parity , far from parity up & down , what benefit ? Us becoming far better than others in time ? i doubt.even do the real value possible come down again . not possible , value land come half to one third ,your salary reduced same proportion etc etc .

to me every currency tanking to the drain , devaluating rapidly. I see one post in 2008 having gold price 665$ per ounce & now the same dollar or anyther couurency eqivalent can't buy half of it.this is for gold with almost no real uses.same with water , a pepsy can or anyother real things/services in this world.

just intercurrency exchanges changes this way , that way ,are all farse & eyewashing in the race who come fast & who late or you come up today I will next day ! just a compromise game to suck us all .

the gamblers policy , give & take , give & take, give all & never take.most simple & basic price action .

so just need more carefull play in this most gaseous & poluted environment.'just my idea, may not be true .

I remember you have been convinced of re-testing 1.2968 area since earlier December sessions ...

First week of 2011 has made Euro a kind of gigolo...
i can live with 2/10 for now. those support #s will change with a new day. but 2843 area may force a bounce to 2969 area. we will cross that bridge when we get to the other side. look for a reversal sign for a bounce there st. another method usually a nut bet is 2871 min. but since we touched the target on close i dont know if we will slip first or not. we usually have slippage.. but on the first attempt Friday we missed the target. we at close came back and got the pip. the pair, when so close, almost always gets its last pip. im watching candles at those levels. we usually bounce some after target is hit. but in strong moves we may not. ill post more levels but #2 predictive is still 2873.6... very close to another method at 2871... so we may have several bounces before 2843 area.. just sell the bounce. #3 is 2791.. and another possible big support at 2749 (2008 chart). hopefully by this time 2843 area will be the hard ceiling.

don't misinterpret a bounce as a reversal.. as long as we are under 2969, short the bounces (tops). next decent supports are possibly 2843 and 2749.. these are both speculative. but i give them more respect then any thing else. I don't expect them to hold. i expect a new low this year below 1876. gonna post minor predictives when needed.

Be very very careful with longs this coming week.. especially if your buy positions are under-capitalized. Know your loss parameter and close your trade upon violation.

You will get flushed by the huge bids buyers have placed on the market. You may be wondering "if there are so many buyers, why is it going down?". It's the short-term algos aggressively taking liquidity (with huge market orders) from buyers who are more than willing to provide it.

Look back to when I said the macro-sell side algos were positioning & providing liquidity.. (This was mentioned when EU was >$1.40 and some of you were laughing at me + trying to instigate arguments..) This is the opposite case.. the macro-buy side algos have kicked in and are now providing liquidity while at the same time their macro-sell side algo is TAKING the same liquidity. Essentially dumping (taking profit on) their sell trades in a area where it's reasonable to start buying them back again.

If you panic and think that the trend has changed down and you decide it's a good time to start selling.. well.. you fell for it. That's exactly what we want you to think.

2011 is a make or break year for the euro

Serial bailouts will not work. The EMU will have to evolve enough to put an end to the debt crisis. How likely is that?

Maybe more likely than you think. But this disease is going to get too serious for bandaids, and soon.
