as I've recently got aware of, every technical movement needs or gets it's fundamental basis. here's probably one for the due retracement early next week.

Portugal Selling Bonds In A Private Placement
This is interesting. Rather than auctioning bonds, as they were expected to do as early as next week, Portugal will sell bonds in a private placement.
That should given them a bit more control over pricing and leave less to chance.
Who’d buy the private placement? Well there is one country which has recently been quite vocal in its support for the euro zone...The Portuguese finance ministry refused comment when asked about potential buyers by Reuters.
Could be a very modest plus for the euro in that Portugal may avoid the embarrassment of a poor auction…

Minor correction. JP Morgan did this during the Panic of 1907. Morgan died in 1913. Whitney did a repeat of this in 1929.

i'm not that much into fundamentals, but my opinion is that the ez sucks as a project, but we will be forced to continue until nothing is left and every one serves a chinese master in the end.

honestly, don't ask me about fundamentals, i am lacking the knowledge.
