oops posted on me..

This past years stupid mistakes.

1. Not letting my signal candle close. My biggest offender

2. Getting my mind pulled off the task at hand. Recently, The Three Goat Formation.

3. Trying to trade when my mind is distracted with other problems, or feeling overly tired or sick.

For the rest of this year and the rest of my looooooooooong trading career I VOW never to do this crap again.

Back to entering before the candle closes......So what if price moves to far. There will be another trade right around the corner. How many times have I or you jumped on a moving candle that looked so pretty only to have it sucked back into a big ole' nasty wick signifying you are going in the wrong direction. ....To quote a country song...Have you ever been there....Stand up......Have you ever been there......Testify...

Enough preaching for one night.

I don't know what to think about the EU..It is between a lot of downward pressure and a big demand area. May just stay in a range till tomorrows news. We will see.

Trade safe all

Now the poor lonely 5m chart.. Our trade execution chart.

For ME now... I don't like to watch this chart to much. After a while I start seeing signals everywhere. I will watch the 15 and let the 5 run in the background.

This past year if took out the stupid mistakes

haha that 7pm opening signal was the only one I trade all night, all force 5 condition fit, pin bar, break mini upper trend line and gut tells me there should be some retracement. I ll post some of my chart later, going to bed now. Good luck for NFD tomorrow to all.

Rufus, can you please explain how you qualify your supply and demand areas. I see some areas on your charts where I would have marked as supply or demand. Thanks.
Ignored

Keep in mind that I sometimes mark out only the ones that will be affecting me where price is now.

But a rally base drop makes a Supply area. The bigger the rally and the bigger the drop the stronger the zone.

On the daily chart...The demand zone was a strong drop short base then a strong rally

The shorter the base and the longer the runs into and out of the better the zone.

If you want to watch some webinars on it Sam Seidon is the one to watch.

Hope this is help. If not draw some on a chart and post it.

Just going through the tread trying to backtest the system. Can someone tell me how to avoid false signals like the ones on the chart?

Determine the general trend of the day, it will help you eliminate many losses.

Do not trade during news time, spikes kill.

Happy pipping =)

....can you hear the big dogs chomping at the bit re EU supply levels...NFP providing a likely vehicle (excuse) for them to shift it to the 3100 supply perhaps.

Regarding the first link -- simply disgusting! I enter the page with articles, which is promptly replaced by another page offering to download something I do not really want. No matter what I do, that page will not go away and instead of articles, I have to fight that page trying to make it go away, and it will not! DISGUSTING!

That's because I am using Firefox - the popup window offers to install a sidebar for Firefox or something. Do not take the link down - I've found a way round it.
Thanks

Hi All

I wanted to clarify something here.

I do a lot of posting about Supply and Demand Zones. I am not doing this to try to introduce a new trading system. That is the last thing I want. Here it is only Force 5 and the EU.

What I am doing is showing how I see the markets and as a result trade them. Every time frame has S/D zones. And every time frame has trends. I will put on positions in light of all the information. But to signal when the position goes in place I use F5 almost every time.

So fib retracements, S/D, hit trend-line, I am still wanting the F5 trigger.

Trade safe all and have a great weekend.

On my charts at 1.2964 I have an old level of support from back at Nov. 29 as a major swing low. Last week we went through them and right now we are/were pushing back up to them. I see we are getting close and notice a double top with two long wicks and I get ready for a reverse. I put a sell order at the bottom of the bar waiting for it to thrust past it. that got me in at 1.2954 and I'm still going south at 1.2939 now and have all my profit locked in at +8. Waiting to check the market later.

Hope all are making happy pips!

The Force 5min system & the Pivotals

Trade Example.

The profit at the first Exit point over 59 pips is for a 5 min strategy more then enough.

I would go out here (and may be trade the rest at M1).

Pivotals: 1.3040 (DR2) - 1.2981 (mR1)

Kindest regards

What is the indicator in the upper right-hand corner of your chart? I understand it is multi-timeframe stochs or something. What are the rules/readings? How effective it is?
Thank you.

Hi MidnightRun

You'll get it at "theforce5.tpl", p.1, #1 and it's really self-explanatory!

There has not been much action here in the thread lately. Next week I hope to get in some more trading time so will be posting some stuff.

I figured I would post my daily EU chart here. I use this as a reference for the week to come.

Weird PA so far this evening. I keep thinking we will continue north but the now triple top we are looking at is saying otherwise.

I still have a little left on with stops set at BE.

I will be back for FF.

Just found this thread. Are traders using original tpl. with original settings? Making some pips with this as posted.

Looks like a descent system, but thread is quiet. I know it's Monday but I'm hard core scalping for a few pips. lol

I added my fibs and a trend indicator and removed the macd.

Regards,
Cigarguy
