hourly bounce completed at 3182.. break that then the next will be 3192 and 3215.. i will take a small short at 3215..

Closed my remaining 1 contract long here @1.3179 with a 33 pips gain.

Not quite correct bbakker,

I made a few pips with that gbpusd buy order. I got out with some profit that Abu-Rami did not count. It is always the question when to exit and I did not believe in a further gbpusd rising.

Never forget, all these calls here are recommendations, nothing more. Some are more reliable than others, the most of them I never see (300 on my ignore list). It is always up to you to recheck the calls given here.

NFP is being adjusted for the ADP and Challenger numbers. I wouldn't go off of what's currently listed on FF. I'd also expect the professionals to adjust downward tomorrow's expected unemployment numbers.

I've already heard a couple of talking heads on Bloomberg/CNBC raise rate expectations on the Bund since the New Year. One this morning expects the 10 yr at 4% by the end of 2011.
Rising yield on the Bund hurts all EZ countries because the Bund is the benchmark from which all other EZ debt is measured.

QE2. Likely to be the full $600B. However, QE3 is now getting less likely to happen based on this morning's numbers.
There's also the political side to this, as Ron Paul will be the Chairman of the Domestic Monetary Policy Subcommittee. http://paul.house.gov/index.php?opti...1806&Itemid=28
For the uninitiated, that committee oversees the Federal Reserve. Ron Paul wants to disband the Federal Reserve. I don't expect Helicopter Ben Bernanke to have as much leeway to drop pallets of money onto the banks in the future.

Another political consideration: The Tea Party Congressmen are starting to flex their muscles, demanding cuts in government spending. Senior Republicans aren't able to stand up to them because they will be crucified in the public forum if they push for business as usual (tax and spend) in Washington.
Watch the deficit ceiling. Currently it's $14.3 Trillion. We'll be hitting that limit before summer. I expect it to be raised to $15 Trillion but there will be draconian cuts associated with that raise. Look for government cuts in every program, including social security and medicare attached to the debt ceiling being raised.
The impact on the USD should be similar to what happened to the GBP when austerity was announced by government in the UK. IE: The dollar should strengthen.

Just my humble view of the world. Hopefully not through glasses that aren't too rose colored.

He clearly shows entry, SL and exit and then did not put those into his final pip gain calculations. You might have followed his entry, but did not follow the exit.

BTW, I never follow any calls or recommendations given on FF.

Good analysis, I was wondering how this new GOP congress and the debt ceiling gonna play out. I agree, they will demand blood for the GOV spending programs, the DEMs will fight them till day 0. Wonder if there is a gridlock in GOV and we are getting close to the deadline, do you see markets move away from dollar prior to compromise being made?
