Good morning everybody,

i have just provided an updated Elliott Wave count on my blog. You can see pictures there.

yesterdays count so far stays valid. I have changed the wave degree of the movement from the top (4282) down one degree, because intermediate 1 (aqua 1) should take back all (nearly all) of the advance of primary 2 (yellow 2) (ideal case). Above I have shown an intermediate term count.

Wave yellow 3 can take us down to around sub parity.

Is it too ambitious to target 1.67 in gu against 1.53 risk and

1.38 against 1.32 in eu

Best wishes for 2011 to everybody!

The forex market is slowly coming back to normal, after a period of low liquidity during Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The trend is up on the short term. The only significant resistance for the next couple of hours is near 1,3436. My feeling is that we are a little overbought here, so I expect a little of a negative reaction near that level. Afterwards the level can be surpassed. I will be back in the afternoon with an update.
