I am going to post more and lurk less 2011. Just out from long which I entered @ 1.3310 and TP @ 1.3360. I am trying to master Murrey Math along with input from other indi's & of course PA. Am now waiting to either short the 1.3397 region to 1.3306 or from 1.3306 to 1.3245. waiting....GL all

Patience - its a wonderful thing. I remember having to have to wait 3 weeks for a trade to finally work out and I then developed the persona to position trade.

A classic case in point. Go to the daily on the EUR/USD and look at January 2009 to June 2009 we are talking about almost 3000 pips if you had just set it and forget it.

We are all wired differently.

I don't know why everyone talks about pips...

there are $.10 pips & $100 pips ...

I prefer to roll like master P ... $1000 pips ...

I can see it didnt close about 3365 but the stocahstics on the h4 chart look as if they are setting up for a rally,...

if PA is any indication, good {ish} ... but with the thin markets, it is 'guaranteed' {imo} to be an exaggerated move ...

That's true ... but such clear turning points ... like the one from 1.5140 area ... at least from Friday - December 04th - 2009 .... just after NFP data at 14h30 CET ... when it started to drop sharply ...

Such clear turning points are rare ...

You might catch one or two maximum per year ... and even then you are not holding your positions during weeks and months ...

I was thinking maximum 1.34 or something like that ... but not 1.187 ...


And it did last 6 month .. that move ... nearly to the single day ...

at 40 the 10 mill plus orders are still trading at bid applying pressure to the downside for now.
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

Whatfx: Good is always best and if bad my bias will still be short. Once this train gets started on its way to downtown, make sure you bought your ticket and try to get a good seat. Smile

Your point is well taken. Its a catch 22 situation, how long does one hold for. Ofcourse we dont want to give back all of our $1000 per pip (MIKEj2010) to the market, so we must cancel and replace our stop orders going down while scaling in and out of trades but holding the peak to the end or your timely exit.

well, my overall view is short in any case. but iam waiting for the news release. perhaps get a better point to enter short if market goes up.....
