For example, if I hold a SHORT EUR/USD position past 17:00 EST, I immediately get that -0.50% premium subtracted from my account, but if I'm LONG on the pair, I NEVER get the +0.15% added.

It's a pretty dick thing to do, to post "positive" and "negative" premiums but only ever SUBTRACT money from accounts.
Sounds like something is messed up on your account, I get paid on the occasion that I hold over in a positive premium direction. I assume you called into their support desk and asked? What did they say?

MB Trading has been in existence for over a decade as a stock broker. That’s how we were originally set up (and then added options and futures). You can do all of that under the SEC and FINRA (used to be NASD). Those all “clear” through an entity (Penson for us). When we went to add Forex, since we were never going to be a deal desk, we had to set up a separate Clearing operation and it had to fall under the NFA and CFTC, which has the words Futures in their titles even though they regulate Forex. So, we named that entity MB Trading Futures (suppose we could have named it MB Trading Forex or something, but the name doesn’t really matter and we will likely do other things under the entity that won’t be just Forex anyway). So when you open a stock, options, and/or futures account, you are opening with MBT. When you open a forex account, you are opening with MBTF. A lot of the support staff is the same between the two entities, and the technology and routing engine that we win all of the awards for is the same. However, that is the reason that you can’t trade stocks, futures, options, and forex in one account. If we were self-clearing for Forex (i.e. a deal desk), then we could. It’s also the reason that we participate in global rollover at 5 pm EST every day with all of the major banks. A deal desk wouldn’t have to do that because all trading would be internal between us and our customers. We don’t trade against our customers, so we have a 5-minute window where we “settle” for “clearing purposes” each day along with the majors. Any broker that doesn’t have that downtime window is a desk in some form.

Hey guys just wondering whether it is possible to have multiple charts open at the same time with MBT desktop pro? IF so how? cheers

Yes I think you have to change the instrument in the main window, and then click new chart or something like that. I did it last time I had it open. Right now it refuses to open and just crashes so I can't look at it. But yes definitely possible. Have you looked at the help file? That's usually the best place to go for things like this. I'm trying to learn ninja right now which totally blows MBT software out of the water.

You might want to take a look at NinjaTrader 7. It's free to use as a charting, system development and backtesting platform with free data from MBT.

You would continue to use a special version of Navigator for order entry, but gain the great full featured charting of NinjaTrader... check it out.

Is it possible to select use BID price for buy stop order?
Use ASK price for sell stop order?

I like this function to be same as dukascopy. It really help me for false break out and avoid spread GAP

Yeah i've looked through the help but can't find where it says i can do this. I know you can open a new chart, but what i wanted was a new chart with a different symbol i.e. one chart showing aud/usd and another showing gbp/usd etc

Yes, that is correct. In order to operate through global rollover and settlement, a broker would have to have a deal desk.

Is there anyone on here using NT7 that does not have a problem accessing Range Bars, Second Bars, Tick charts, (anything other than minute bars) ?

Quite a few NT users have been complaining about this.

I have funded my acct. electonically from my checking acct. using ACH transfer. I have also gone to my bank and wired money to MB on a couple of occasions . Never had a problem.

Go here http://mbtrading.com/forexDeposits.aspx and click on the grey bars labeled "Wire" and "ACH".

In reply to my prior post, historical tick data seems to working for now on nt7. Range bars are working for me. I'm not sure if it was an NT or MB problem. Good Luck.
