What's going on? Rising pressure, Higher Highs, Higher lows, for the past two weeks this kind of Price Action has resulted in Breakouts to the upside.

What else is going on?

Oncoming Asian and Sydney session which thwart Euro sellers and the Euro buyers come out of Hibernation.
lol. in normal market condition, that usually is a sign for me to exit out. and even if it takes off like you said, where would you put sl? but then again... thin market. anything can happen. gl to u.

It is for sharing ideas, throwing random gut feelings and bouncing ideas on strategy. etc. It is not for random name calling or nursing one's ego.
During my time on FF, I have seen perfectly reasonable argument shouted down for reasons I can not understand. It scares away new input from the threads and promotes a snide form of cyber bullying where posters believe they need to be on the side of the loudest voice.

Thats correct Kill and I have received some very valuable info from noobs myself cuz I surely dont know EVERYTHING even tho I have been in this business for almost 7 yrs. (speaking of FF)

Yeah, thats a very conservative TP and you will most likely get there.

This is where/when I think a breakout might and would end up at if it were to occur.

M15 respected Fib Fan channel and 31.8% channel line acting as a strong support.

As you can see the channel is demanding a higher low, and thats exactly what the Price Action is giving it.

Look at how nicely the H1 Fib Channel is backing up the M15.

And if things go haywire, look at that, a pretty 50% Fib line as support.
Talk about going to war prepared.

Decided to hold on to my long from 3190. I will add on more if it breaks 3318, as shown in pic for TP3357; if it breaks the later will add more @ 3370 TP3450 (green boxes).... Best short to me if you want to call a top conservatily and sanely is 3525.... I do not see much movement in this thing until 2nd week of Jan, probably the 23rd/24th... quiet similar in NZUSD as well.... but if the unexpected happens, I have shorts starting from 3025 and well below the bottom red box... good luck all thats my contribution for the year done...


BTW whats this interesting email about ff that some got their nickers in twist about???

Yeah, Yeah the last one was supposed to be, but since Clownie claimed I don't contribute enough, here is 2 more to close out the year,

My reasons for being short:

Reason 1

In chart 1 you can clearly see in the highlighted areas of the Dow chart the massive 290 point sell off that has yet to be retraced. In addition, the crude oil chart beneath is starting to resume a head and shoulders on the daily.

Reason 2

Will look at this one a little closer. First of all you can see the clear top set in place on the weekly at the 4295 area marked by the highlighter. This is confirmed by the 50 percent moving average reversal, and the 200 ema meeting at the same place. Hard physcology there, turned the uptrend from June into a reversal. The crossing and opening of a new weekly bar below the middle bollinger band confirmed the reversal of the previous uptrend. Long term trend on weekly, it's not hard to tell. Start at the left of your screen and look right.

I'm in @3260 tp 2500 sl 3390, I have a pending sell at 3400 which sits at nice resistance on the daily, and is just past the top of the bollinger band.

Like I said before, I trade on weekly time frames. Have a good New Years!

Here is a Daily chart i've just knocked up. Yellow lines are self explanatory. The general uptrend from 1.19 is stil intact, BUT, we have broken 3 different trendlines to the downside now. Next test to watch for is the region between 1.31 and 1.2950. (Red line).

Of course there is a bullish argument supported by the breaking of the UTL, (green line), but any break below this line might bring a bearish scenario.

Secondly, there is still a bearish divergence which hasn't yet played out. (White lines). Easy to forget these divergences when it's no longer visible on the current chart, but it's there nonetheless. A play-out area for this is somewhere between 1.24 and 1.25. (Blue box). The biggest problem with divergences is that although they ALWAYS play out eventually, (in my experience anyway), predicting the timing of them is pretty much impossible.

Just out of interest, is there a possible EW scenario which would support a EU drop to 1.24? Any EW aficionados on..?
