well thats me for the week and the year! phew wat a crazy year!!!! i came across FOREX in a shares magazine last Oct (2009), by Jan i had been testing my own strategy and went live in Feb 2010, had mixed results until June 2010 as my strategy was based on 6 JPY pairs and i didn;t have the capital to trade it, i ended up picking sometimes the right pairs one week and sometimes the wrong pairs! way it goes

But by May-June when the YEN went crazy my strategy stopped workin! i thought uh oh now wat?? i could have gone to any forum and copied someone elses but i wanted the satisfication of using my own, so i spent a few weeks testing it on USD pairs: AU, EU & GU and hey presto it works fine lol! so since Aug i got maybe 1000+ pips, which for trading from an hour to 2-3 max is not so bad?

i started on babypips and came across a link to FF and the rest is history, this is easily the best site and i've learned so much in such a short time and also developed my 4H strategy using one of the threads here: Trade What You See - Almost Naked Trading and in 2 weeks made +400 pips!

there is some amazingly talented ppl here with fantastic techniques and skills, much to be admired. So for now am going to take a well earned break till next week! which i really need, with Forex u can get addicted like mad and since i been on FF i been here on daily basis spending all day long trying to learn from everyone, sometimes it seems like a mental assluym here lol! idid try and learn PA and all this S&R, Fib etc but its not easy, it will take time and i will keep learning and working from u guys here, but for now i got 2 of my own strategies so am lucky, just like i said u get addicted and want to learn it all! but next year will stick to my 2 and build my account.

But anyway 'my story' over and happy new year to all and best wishes and GL next year

Too early to tell, will have to wait until weeks end, but it seems like a White Marubozu + Bearish Engulfing candle is being formed on the weekly. With a rejection of the 61.8% fib fan line.

Call me mad, but I am holding onto my short @ 3249.
I do use a sub account, so I am offsetting this trade with some higher longs, (all with S/Ls), but I have seen this kind of PA before in light markets....

i see EU from current price 3296 will go down to 3150 and has possibole to visit 3323 or even 3348, but still targeting 3150

Man, I have to say, I finally found a compliment to my hourly chart fib lines.

These fans work like a charm.

4H chart, close in the 1.3380 range only further proves Weekly and Monthly charts. And promotes a bullish pattern.
