Speaking of trading reversals....I stated earlier that I didnt see any PA that supports a short therefore I wouldnt short. Price retraced just a bit and now we are back to 3239. So if you decide to trade reversals, that is what I mean by it being important to know PA.

i have a "natural" tendency to look for those. problem is that sometimes (many times) i enter too soon. i use TD counts (Fontu showed them to me) to "make" me wait for entries. but still...

Break outs can be dangerous. I usually let the break happen, then retest, then enter. Reversals are ok as long as you are good with PA. But reversals can kill ya if you arent very familiar with PA. The "set and forget" trades can really get you into trouble especially in the mkts lately. Just look at todays action in the mkt. (perfect example of how the set and forget method can snag your money in a heart beat. )

both VSA and TD counts give me great entries to look for reversals. and i know i should wait for a retest or a ND/NS to enter the trade. somehow, i usually don't... go figure...

short at 3231 atm again... i wanted to wait till London... i add till 327x.. i like 3256.. but on a bigger tf.. 3240/45 looked decent.

I was tempted too but gonna sit this one out and see, may regret it but good luck anyway, its tough resistance this area.

May I ask, even though this is slightly off topic on EUR/USD, if you are happy with the FXCM platform? I am having the ghastliest times with them...right now I have an SL set, whenever I pop up the little window it shows it, but it does not show it in the positions. The daily highs and lows are not updated during the day...I've sent them a bug report a month ago but no change.

yes they look good to me too but I dont see any divergence, and im expecting at least 3180.. otherwise something isnt quiet right... i just want to put one sell like yesterday and walk away without `SL.. i will just sit around and enjoy my period dramas

let me show you something..

the BEAR 4h bar from yesterday has being retraced, and the PA at the close of the market is telling a story.
If we close above that high.. of that Bear candle.. redline [1.3230] the BEARS are in big trouble.
and YES I agree with Mal and PipChick, we could easy see 1.35.

Also remember.. the breakout happen in Asia, and havent been sold in London, nor in NY.. GOOD LUCK...

1.3238 resistance is strong, however bulls are active and want to go higher.
