Yes, I don't think the market is worth our time today and until market open of next week. I think I will call it quits for the week/year.
Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe New Years celebration. I will be checking in from time to time between now and Sunday/Monday market open, but not looking for trades.

However, if you see a strong support level just below the price, maybe it's better to wait for a clear BO below that level.
Otherwise, you might enter the trade, perhaps make some pips and then just see the price bounce back up.

thanks for the comments geula...euro yen is still hiding in the tunnel but GBP/CHF did indeed break...but I didn't enter, wary of the support on the 28th
Eur/gbp however, is looking very nice. All RSIs are steep as hell, and 15min candles have crossed nicely

we're both wrong, geula4. it went past 81.4 since then.
You are right! USDJPY did break down nicely to 81.4 area.
However, it's not easy to trade in real-time as it is in hindsight...
Now seriously, I don't think we made a mistake in that trade:
We identified a good overall trend and a good setup, observed PA and entered at a good price. Our SL and TP were logical.
The price went down in our direction very nicely.
Once the price started to bounce up-down up-down, LG and I, each on his/her own discretion, felt that the PA is not clear anymore.
I personally prefer to take 10-15 pips profit for sure, then gamble on a possible further price movement of another 50 pips.
That movement can be a continued trend movement or a possible unexpected counter-trend bounce.
I am sorry for this post being so long, but I think it is important to understand how to manage our trades in a logical way after we enter.
Thank you very much for pointing this price movement down and giving me the opportunity to explain my trade management logic!

Just check PA in 15M candles before entry and see that PA is clearly going up.
Again, just my humble opinion. Trade on your own discretion and trade safe!!
