-Down trend.
-Bullish engulfing pattern, maybe confirmed by a three outside up later (lets wait) .. a bullish reversal pattern
And Hussin explained excellent, as always, about LFX JPY & GBP/JPY.

Hi Hussin I see the break of the low and respect for 127 expansion ,possible morning star for pull back ,but to be honest I would have thought twice about buying the pound just on that ,I dislike uncharted territory

actually had that 127 target the minuet we broke as always thanks for your help today

If you would read through the thread you will clearly see what Hussin intends this thread to be.
It is not for posting others opinions about a pair that has nothing to do with the title of the thread. If you wish to follow those others feel free but please do not post them here.

All that is ask is that you stay on topic which is daily candle chart

I was thinking only pullback ,Hussin tho I see no sign on higher tfs ,just a possibility ? 1.7 is a large round no ,Aud likes them

D1 close over would change things.

A is bullish because the accumulation was happened before the bull move happens.

B&C might be just mostly technical rebound/short covering, because there were heavy selling in the back and the next few days, the market did not move up further after the first candles that appeared to be bull where is it mostly short covering.

D, should be starting of a rally again, however you would need to see accumulation take place first before you are able to determine it.

Hi Gh if you look at all the candles you highlight ,they in general need confirmation , there are better candle set ups in your picture which are easy to pick up after the event as usual ,that worked just fine ,even d is not that strong when you consider the move

thanks and also Bones , so i understand reading the next candle is just as importand as the candle itself, i just wanted ur input on the actual candle, but yeh it seems u need to read the next day(s) candle also, is there a set number of days i should wait or does it all depend on the trend, referring back to the screenshot:

A - the bullish candle is followed by a series of mixed candles but support is not broken and after another big bullish candle the uptrend continues

B & C - both bullish candles but followed by bearish candles and downtrend resumes

D - as for this one a uptrend did ensue

Well theres so many things to consider ,really to trade candles you really should have other Arrows To Your Bow ,there is a lot of false candles that would for instance be pull back to test after break out ,Im not the expert but with the right knowledge ...

Also all candles are not equal ,say a three candle set up would be more reliable than a single and so on ,

ive had a little go on your page ,maybe there was a uptrend but im thinking it did not last that long from that candle

also consider the state of market in regard to whether we are say consolidating ,
candles dont work so well in these conditions
