I agree, if u see both M5 and H1, it shows sign of uptrending. Even so. i'll take a pending buy at 3120, 3125, and make sure i dont take much heat today.

if it doesn't touch my order.. im sure theres always another chance.. like shorting from R1 or R2..

We've broken both Fibs based off recent low and higher low.

I expect range between 1.3149 and 1.3123 ( Old Fib ) and potentially a break out to 61.8% retracement level at 1.3181 ( New Fib ).

Will we break that 61.8%? No idea.

But I took a large loss yesterday gambling a break to 1.3188 and it never did. So I'm taking my profits at 61.8% and re assessing the situation from there.

absolutely fontu. i agree but i dont get the strategy part when you short within the asian range you will be forced to put stop loss at least 40 pips. for intraday and stops can easily get hit. btw watching 3156 closely, just trying to pick the exact top with good r:r. lots of news on the way for usd

may be even 70 pips. market markers will stretch out the long for you to get stopped or margined out

pending is fine but not market, at this time of the day low volume. thats my online concern unless you are scalping

btw are your entries exactly to the pip, if short, close to resistance enough?

i'm satisfied, honestly i move the entries down by a pip or two, otherwise the limits don't get filled. i mostly use market orders though, have a fast finger from playing counterstrike *g
if i showed you my entries, you'd get pale. i lack the stamina to hold them once the gain grows.

Hi Allseeingeye,

why do you think that it will run 50 more pips? Around 3131 is the downsloping TL which connects 3359 and 3181.

Maybe it reaches the TL which connects 3498 and 3359 at around 3153 and 3168

I will close my short around 3124 to 3126, because downward action does not look impulsive so far.

if we touch 83, look for 3282 +... so 3181.2 may be well defended.. any way if we touch we should pull back..first (pull back could be huge 107 pips and still be valid, so the lower the pullback the better)... the wild card is 3189... its a nut bet but against the trend. so im not betting the jewels on it. we may not see 3181.. but i always have a plan. and its not for the meek.. its a position.. saying it will go there (3280) if we hit 3183.. it should hit 3280 before 3073.
with the holidays upon us.. i trade little.. holding what i got. i may short at 80..

not at this time for me. i wait 5am est o or 10am est for momentum trades yesterdays bear action at exactly 5 am est i was short 3180 exactly at the top closed before ny session was over. i have paid my dues enough..so i try to share so people can save good equity
