here is #2.. it agrees with gartly. respect it or not 3189 is a bad muther.. and will be strong as time goes on. it took china's bs to crack it. and it didn't go far after.
I've been thinking about Euroland downgrades - specifically the time of day they occur since I expect several to occur within the next month.
I noticed that the Moody's release occurred early in the European session. My assumption at this point is that Euroland downgrades occur when European markets are open. Does anyone have an example of Euroland downgrades occurring outside of European market hours? I confess that I haven't watched time of day in the past.

If downgrades have traditionally occurred during Eurpean market hours, I anticipate a small/medium bounce during Asian hours, validating your min 3135.

Edit: I'm tempted to open a mouse sized long going into the Asian session.

I see a lot of bull talk flowing through the pages here and really wonder why...

In a down trend, and forgive me if I am mistaken on the rules of this again, but isn't every day that a new low is created a continuation of trend?

In this down trend, wouldn't we expect the European market times to at least challenge a new low created during the US session?

Is there at least one daily chart that Boasts any reversal signs other than bullshit indicators and hand drawn trend lines?

WTF are you people thinking?

On TOP I use Bollinger Bands, EMA and Parobolic Sar. I find SAR most useful and if you do not use it you should. With one of these charts I can have green on the bottom for SAR and red on the Top.

I then use MACD and RSI

I find Awesome Indicator with Oanda shows me a form of volume so I know if moves are made with strength.

Lately with FXCM UK I have been using Fractional Indicator.

I just wanted to share that.

Aw yes...magix...The downtrend is a consecutive string of LH and LL. No reversal sign at all so far.

maybe someone plays an intraday counter trend strategy, or going after a pullback ( counter trend also )..

not me. seriously..

Try not to stack too many.

If u are a fond of indies i recommend 3 simple MA 30 50 100.

And : AMA ( Adaptive moving average), MM lines, Momentum ( for detecting divergences)

A couple of months ago I dropped it all and got back to core PA trading which I have been taught initially.

I did some experiments with indicators and above mentioned are quite good.

T, you gotta be one of the last guys I'd be worried about...

But you guys know your shit well enough to cover your asses in the event of any attempted counter trend takes.

It just seems there is still a lot of fresh traders in the mix who might wanna be around in the New Year...Guessing bottoms on a daily chart for long term longs is probably not going to allow that to happen.

Sure, you can scrape a few bones outa not so greedy bull plays, but some of these old dogs and some of the newbs seem a lot confused about what is actually happening.

Forget the bullshit you are reading on the interwebs, look at a daily chart.

Aight, so, in all truth, I haven't had an active trade since Sunday/Monday Asian/London sessions. I took my profit, met my goals and closed my personal trading down for the year.

I am not going to try and disillusion anybody into thinking that I am so great that I can tell you where bottom is...but really, who can ya trust on this?

The bottom line is the bottom line, and in the event of a reversal, it will most likely be a lot more clear then new daily lows and no heavy buying off bottom.
