But Now I do wonder cut my losses and get it back over the next few months(holidays and all) or go for it and let it go and well hope for the best?

Hey man, it's your money. But what you're describing is positive reinforcement of negative action. In short - you lucked out before. What are you going to do if it doesn't work out this time? Do you at least have a plan as to when you call it quits on these open positions? Can you afford the hit if this happens? These are the relevant questions you need to ask yourself.

We probably won't see eu above 3500 again this year.

take the loss....and learn from it !

bears looks for 3223 next, the shadow of that last bar s/b some good resistance now...good luck PTL

how i handled this take loss problem at my very beginning :

set up a tp and sl ALWAYS when u open a position, dont play without SL and think about sl and tp wisely....

if you dont know how to set sl/tp in a comfortable way ask for it

It sure can, we have all been there. You have to realize that, it dosent feel good closing a trade -15 or-20. But its far better then closing it at -70 to-100.

good to hear. I haven't thought about reading the forum's thread about the pair, it's just the pa on every tf hooked me in. I demoed the pair for a week and just fell in love with it.The spread is higher than most,but it seems worth it for me.The pa for today has been amazing so far.

As for fibre, I just closed my last short and am sitting on the sidelines for now. Didn't like this little up move that just happened. I'm not confident at all if she's gonna keep going downwards or not, so I figured the best thing to do is cash in and not be too greedy. If I had to venture a guess, I would say she wants to go kiss the 3220 mark on the H4 chart.But who knows.

I dont post here very often but do read most days.

I will be honest and tell you that I was once in the same position as you, shortly after I began trading. Many pips underwater with no stop. It was a pretty horrible feeling.

I decided that I would realize my loss, which was 10% of my capital and even though it was hard to take, there was a certain peace I got from doing that which at least meant I didn't spend each and every minute worrying about it.

Once I had closed, I had a plan of action to make back that 10% in 2 months (it actually only took me 1 month). I had a goal of a 1% gain on a trade (also my max risk which is prob a lot lower than most here), and I was going to be selective about my entry points, make my own decisions and not trade on what anyone else tells me on this board (although I do get a lot of good ideas from here).

And finally, dont ever place a trade without a stop (even if it is very frustrating when you get stopped to the pip before it turns round).

Whatever you do, I wish you luck but it was far better for me to accept a realized loss than to watch an unrealized one get bigger

i was long at 1.332, and 1.335.. i believed that we should at least touch 1.34.. so i lost.

Close out two remaining shorts at nice profit. Taking a breather, think we'll bounce around here for awhile. Who knows? Not wanting to be too greedy.
