last year after december fomc the usd rallied 300 p on the eu and more than 500 on the gu. keep this in mind. if tonight statement is slightly positive we could see 1.32 and or 1.54 for the gu faster than you can spell quantative easing

I agree .
I buy and sell whatever the main trend is .

only long term trades (overnight ) are the ones that needs to comply "SOME TIMES" with the big trend .

I have 3388 as 100% fib extension as well so short entry at 50% 3420

Anyway ... that was a nice example for your beloved BPC pattern ...

break below 50 towards 10 ... pullback again and re-test at 50 area ... and down continuation again ... towards daily lows ...

Hi Tarantula,

i agree with you with the continuation pattern but as you can see on GBP/USD 10minutes before it does not work. (Watch 1 minute base)

For me it is a miracle how lots of people are able to earn money that way because it's often just gambling and you RRratio is mostly only 1.5 .
I could not trade that way.
Besides, I did the opposite ten minutes before and got little profit. I like bounces but it is hard to analyse but more stable in my opinion.

@mercyseat: Yes, you are right, good example but it doesn't matter cause more often it does not work... of course you can earn money with that by moneymanagement but it sucks, doesn't ? Waht's your ratio win/lost ? more than 1.5 ?

Yes, we need to follow the trend exactly.
I was just referring to posts where yesterday many people called 1.55xx without any substantial reason. I am the bear , you are the bull and - lets fight!

I dont approve that. For the people who trade on longer timeframes ( weekly+)
I can understand that personification with an animal but for all others, we just trade what PA can offer.

reading through the posts here i realize that most of you are expert traders, opening and closing profitable trades almost to the pip... tens of pips both directions!... with a keen understanding and interpretation of p.a... something that i still have problems with, after years of live trading and watching markets...
what can i say, shame on me for still being dumb. i should probably return to demo and practice until i achieve the perfection and profitability that i see here...
