Sh*t, I just entered short on the EURAUD, I selected £2 per pip....only I haven't by mistake it is 2.00LOTS, £20 per pip!!

Is this going short or should I get out now and learn a valuable lesson, be more carefull!!! It is down -£189 on the spread and current PA...

er, help advice very welcome.

it still looks good bearish. tighten your stop loss.

its in profit, now all I need to do is hold my nerve tor my TP at 1.3350

It is a good trade and it's supported by the criteria we use.

Personally when I make a fatfinger trade larger than I wanted I always close it and re-enter using the cost of the mistake as punishment for not being careful.

For me if I do this it removes any inclination that I have to hold onto other trades that may have been poor entries for some reason.

It removes any element of gambling from your results.

That said now it is in profit you can always shut part of the position if you're trading in MT4 and then have it run normally.

I should have closed out when it went a couple of points in profit, but I couldn't react quick enough.....

I didnt close on entry becuase it was down so much, the huge spread really isn't helping matters.

I think I will move my tp to take just a couple of pips and get me out..

It has moved against me again right now, but as you say it looks likeit should be an OK trade....

hoping its about to bounce off the TS on the M15..


if it hits the KS on M15 and passes through then i will be stopped out.

expensive lesson!!

To rate/vote for this thread there is a drop menu on the top right of the thread near the page count.

Hit the down arrow and give it a rating.

Regarding vouching - I am not sure of the basic process behind vouching however it seems to be a time based system or something linked to longevity on FF.

Basically if you click on a person's user ID you will see in their profile information how many vouches they have and if you have a vouch available to give, you will have the option to "vouch for this person".

Just make sure you use your vouches on people who genuinely deserve them.

If think that the best way to get people to consider rating the thread/vouching for contributors is to put this in your signature:

"If you like our fine thread - please remember to vote for us!! AND if the assistance/advice of anyone has been particularly valuable please remember to vouch for them - thanks"

This way it's just a reminder. We can't be seen to be trying to influence people's voting/vouching otherwise the thread will lose it's credibility. Obviously that's not what you meant to achieve but it needs to be said so everyone is clear of our goal

The EUR seems to be gaining some ground across all pairs at the moment. I cant see any news that is causing it?

Anyone any input?

It's been in a tight range since last Thursday. Friday was a daily inside bar so you often get a pop outside of the inside bar's range in the following days.

Not that 1.3270-80 area is one of interest. If price fails here on the hourly then don't be long in my opinion. Looks like a fake out to get the weak short positions before moving lower. However if it sustains a move on the hourly or greater above this level then don't be short until a new signal appears (ideally around the 1.3450 area where there is confluence resistance on a number of different analysis methods.

Just my thoughts.

I only look at the pairs that are listed on the tight hand side - I was just seeing which seemed to me to be the best picks from those.

I am not sure why it doesnt show other pairs that also have a good score. I suppose thats the problem with this being a spreadsheet.

is that what you mean?
