You should get rid of that word if you are trading forex
If you know it won't close above it, you might short your whole account, but we know you won't because there is a possibility of an upmove !

Its not my 5,5 year experience that tells me that good trades are in the green from the beginning, and I'm doing really fine here.
Don't worry, I know where to cut a loss.

I'm bored tonight so I'll post my analysis.
Let's see how this goes..

Price is still retracing/consolidating after November's brutal, bearish engulfer. We're still in this monthy channel, awaiting a breakout which probably won't happen until mid 2011. There's little point speculating which way price will break, long term wise. For those who remember, I still think euro is headed much, much higher. January 2011 bar will have to form a bottom and then hold. That's not really relevant for a while though.

What will thin holiday trading hold in store? To me, it seems as though the path of least resistance is lower. In a perfect world, price would bottom out at the lower monthly TL in January 2011. The world is rarely perfect, unfortunately.

As of now, I'm plannning on holding shorts throughout the silly season.

After 5.5 years of experience one would expect more control to a public forum than the "Christ how can I fall asleep with so much at stake?" Unless trading is just a hobby for you and not a full time trader than I can understand.

CYN is a "non-deliverable forward". That means that you can trade it with certain brokers but so long as it's a non-deliverable forward, gains or losses will have to be settled in the currency which you used to open your account.

hey Tex - hope you had a good year, man. can't remember what our last bet was, euro going up or down...or something, I still think euro has lots of upside potential if the EZ can shake off the bond vigilantes. Hey, they may be coming to a state/county/city near you soon. Stronger RMB is going to mean a weaker USD, and thats looking pretty likely in coming months.

Anyway, I don't usually trade Monday Asia and wait for Monday London to start putting any real money in the pot.
