Intraday EUR / USD

1 st level support - 1.3191 / secondary /

1 st level of resistance - 1.3446 / secondary /

2 nd level support - 1.3056 / secondary /

2-nd level of resistance - 1.3688 / secondary /

The euro / dollar this week is likely to consolidate after it has grown by about 5 cents from 10-week low of 1.2964 reached on Tuesday. Stochastics on the daily chart has to point to growth, are at oversold levels, but the MACD indicator on the daily chart still shows a decline. Resistance is at 1.3446, which is the same base set Nov. 16 / has been tested for durability on Monday morning. The breakthrough of this level will open the way for growth to the moving average over 55 days, now located at 1.3688 and then - to the reaction high 1.3786 on Nov. 22. Support is at a minimum of 1.3191 on Friday, and a breakthrough at this level will open the way to reduce to a minimum 1.3056 Thursday, and then - to 1.2964. Medium-term couples are negative, as a moving average over a 5-week fall and Stochastics on the weekly chart shows a decline. In the next couple weeks, perhaps, to focus on the reaction at least 24 August 1.2584, and then - at least 7 June 1.1875. However, the increase above 1.3786 resistance cancels the negative medium-term prospects.

And yes, Physical silver is a great safety net.

it is till its not. its a industrial metal more then a precious one, in this day in time. if there is a downturn there will be less industrial demand.

Highest on Friday, December 10th, has been roughly 1.3282

Lowest on Friday, December 10th, has been roughly 1.3178

Closing on Friday, December 10th, has been roughly 1.3227/28

Immediate range should be seen between 1.3191 - 1.3177 (downside) and 1.3243 - 1.3258 or 1.3280 (upside) at first ...

Valid as long as 1.3165/ 54 might hold ...

Market rythm ... possibly first down then up again ...

100% agreed. I see, first, a (possibly) down to the 1.3155 / 1.3135 zone before another leg up above 1.3275. If we go first to 1.3275, i will NOT buy before a correction around 1.3150 zone. Intraday Final objectives are between 1.3280 / 1.3370 IF the 1.3155/1.3135 zone hold.

We will see what market bring to us.

if something really bad happens, how would silver or gold be better than food, clothes or shelter...

and how come this guy stansberry first preaches for a total meltdown where the dollar would crash... and then starts pouring non-sense about how to invest your money 'oh believe me you'll make a killing your investment will be worth 9000 times more' - more than what? and in what currency? and what, he just put it on the internet like a good samaritan so we will all profit from that and become billionaires after the crisis. come on.

buckle up everyone. if/when this happens, it won't be pretty no matter what we do. that's how the system was, is and will be designed for ever - WE, the heard, must always lose.

don't waste your money on metals... they will crash at the right time, just like everything else. the real safety assets are not accessible and probably will remain unknown to the masses until AFTER the big events... when it is usually too late to make a difference anymore.

oh yeah as for the gold/silver ratio, did you ever think that it could also go into the opposite direction... that is, gold is sooooooo much overvalued...

if silver is now 27 bucks an ounce, and silver/gold ratio is 1/16... that would put gold in the mid 400 bucks an ounce - now that would be a good price to buy wouldn't it?

id rather dig a bunker and buy palettes of canned beans,instead of wasting money on gold or silver.Also same can be done with rice,pasta,dried fruits endless investing opportunities in fraction of 1 ounce gold price
