Spot fx market is almost entirely speculative. Virtually all spot moves are the result of speculative plays. Understand that the spot fx market is only around 35% of the daily fx flows. sometimes when you think its a flag then its not,,and break right through the otherside ---my own words "zigzag top" loook where is the momentum in bullflags ? obv on the bullish side --- look at this current eur/usd ''' bullflag" momentum look bearish ? we struggle to get to the top,then bang it get sold--- see the differance in the candles ?

i am also bullish--but trust is still low until we break 1.3400 -- i can post plenty examples of these kinda tops that looks like flags,but its not ---

the longer we go nowwhere now--- its gonna drop like a bomb!

banks don't hold cash (electronic or not) in waiting for a better price. its in and out after they skim their cut. anyway.. a few billion in any particular place at a given time is a pimple on a gnats ass. other then central banks. multiple billions are rarely moved in a single transaction. in a 4 trillion $ market per day ..

it's not a $4 trillion per day market. Spot is around $1.5T daily avg. Do you understand the difference between spot transactions and those in swaps and forwards? Does your broker let you trade in swaps? No. This must be the third time we have had this convo, but its all good. You can believe the earth is flat and still make it from A to B in the same time as Copernicus.
