short @ 1.3248. manual stop above green line.

With due respect thanks for the info..... for a daytraders achieving 10-15 pips to 50-100 all that matters...... 54% is all that needed..... to achieve this.

Your argument doesn't make much sense or I may not be understanding your comment: 54% is the weight of the euro on the DX ... what this has to do with day trading 10-15 pips. Are you implying that DX leads the pair at any time in any given day? (Btw, I am not denying the importance of tracking the DX in your workspace)

thank you for all your insights and charting.. i'm trying to save my charting on mt4 to share too .. dun wanna be a leech

hahaha anyway just to share.. i made my pips today .. had my fair share of bad trades and good ones.. shorted from 1.334 to 1.32 .. bought it up.. and died.. almost lost all my profits when it free falled to 1.31xxx but hung in there because my total sum i set aside for day trading hasnt been completed drained yet.. use whatever sum of money i had left to buy a 0.5 contract and rode the wave from 1.31xx to 1.32xx following which i shorted from 1.32xx to now.. just closed my trades and i'm off to do some reading. Learnt some valuable lessons today .. thanks guys

The good things is it create a SR line bad things are very few...... very less...

I am just uploading it for 1/2 an hour while u insert this indi change time from of your chart to monthly, weekly, daily, 4 hr and then move to 1hr or any tf you wish to trade less then 4hr define fibo or manual SR lines.... it really helps a lot.
yeah got same sorts of indicators already. but i did not use usdx... got all sorts of tickers(commod-index-forex-futures stocks options) but not usdx..
I got a temporary option now( thnx samdani786!).. but will look for the correct ticker @ my brokers feed.

1.317x area bounce makes sense now, I was to focussed on possible break lower...

Can anyone tell me what the critical numbers are (top & bottom) for the US$ Index please? That is something that I have been overlooking.

I want to search for it later and give it a read.
