Salient, after London open I closed down the MT4 since I had this error.
I now opened and I *do not* have this error!
I will keep you posted how it goes.

Yes I was going to suggest trying that. MT4 often gets tied up when you are using EAs etc. Please feel free to ask any questions as it helps me write better docs. I have a lot more to write but I am just too busy to find much time. By the way the chart that you drop the FlexiChart EA onto can be any time frame. It is just used as a data source.

I have tried to install the EA (FlexiChart)for 5 sec chart by I am getting an alert for an error.
"ERROR : INVALID FUNCTION PARAMETER VALUE"

.... and you did try again by closing down MT4 first? See the previous post. If that does not help please tell me what broker and any messages in the experts tab.
I am using FXCM broker.
I am able to get the charts now..but the charts seem to be wrong..
Two candles are gettting updated..(1 current & 1 prev (5th 0r 6th) ).
Sometimes the charts go completely haywire..
have you faced this issue anytime??
Please download and read the pdf on the first post. There are 96 time frames available. 00:00:00 is a tick chart
A tick chart showing bid and ask. You must use C_Time and 00:00:00 if you want to see the bid and ask on your chart. Then put the indicator ticlkines onto it.

I ran version 2.0 EA last week to make a 10 and 20 second chart on 2 different metatraders and it worked perfect.
This week I changed UseSystemTime and PadBars to True, the offline chart was updating but the volume of all new candles equal 1, and I can not bring up the properties of the EA either. I reapplied the EA with StartFresh = True, still all candles have a volume of 1, I closed down metatrader, downloaded all 3 ex4 files again and restarted, still all candles volume are 1.
I reapplied the EA back to UseSystemTime and PadBars to False and everything works but I really would like to pad the bars.
My broker uses 5 digit pricing, could this be the problem ?
you can not change the time frame of the chart the EA is on, if you do you get that error box come up and the only way for it to go away I found was to drop a new EA on the chart.
when it works (markets open and new ticks coming in) the name of the offline chart it is making is in the left top corner of the chart the EA is on.

I began following the Central Banks and Big Players thread and, unsuccessfully, tried to justify using the M1 time frame instead of the 5 sec as Tony uses - ....because your directions are perfect, I was able to follow them successfully and get the 5 sec.
Is there a way i could open multiple 00.00.10 offline charts? I tried add another but it wont refresh.
I also tried to attach the ea to a new online chart and open a new m12 offline chart for 10 sec offline chart but it did not work.

I don't see any reason you couldn't open multiple offline charts.
Look at the first post and go through it step by step. Be careful to open offline the chart that you are told to open, to view whichever chart time frame you have chosen. I think it's the M8 time frame but I could be wrong - on that, I view the 5 sec. It just keeps running on and on day after day. I have not used it, yet, to try to trade the London open.
I tried to test FlexiChart according the documentation, but no chart appear. The one that appear is the moving average.
Do anybody know, where the mistake is?

I have been using your flexiCharts for more then one year. It works very well, thanks for the very good EA.
But lately, it no longer working in FxPro Mt4. I tried it on Oanda Mt4 as well, it is also not working.
I found that in both cases, the offline history data no longer show M8 data, instead the name of this file
shows up the name with some strange characters.
Can you please check to see what is wrong?
