Bond guys are expecting about 5% for China CPI and this could force the PBOC to hike rate this weekend. Any expectations from the FX world?

There are traders that make 34% per month consistently. Some of them do a LOT more than that CONSISTENTLY. I deal with a lot of traders mainly from Asia...Singapore,Malaysia,China and Hong Kong to be specific. You won`t see them hanging around forums firstly because they just won`t be bothered and secondly because of language problems.

Most of them trade a set of accounts , an investment account/s and a "speculation" account. The speculation account is traded with a higher risk profile than the investment account and the profits are withdrawn or moved into the investment account on a regular basis ....some do it daily/weekly.

There are certainly traders that make serious money on a regular basis....consistently.

I don`t want to start up a pointless debate whether it is possible to make 34%/month consistently.
Because you don`t see them does not mean they do not exist?

Sorry mate. All alarms for closing shorts triggered in this close H4 here too. Piss me off to have to move from bed to exit before my stops are hitted. A very poor trade overall for such a potential trade (all + from the intraday targets and all - from daily as none of the daily target were hit).

It is such a good r:r that as long as the last intraday R is holding I will have all eyes on the same entries as yesterday.

Well as they said, a reentry or an opposite trade are just one commission away... we'll see tomorrow new opportunities.

e/u was bullisch in the last hours - i expect that it's breaking. the target is 1.3330-40.

I understand where youare coming from.

My point was that by thinking it's not possible you are limiting yourself.
If you can loose 34% of your account in one month I don't see why the reverse is not possible.

May be one way would be to get a newbie and just trade the opposite of what he/she does

Super tempted to take a short here with s/l above 80 but there are a couple of reasons why I cant:

USD/JPY at strong upper resistance and so am short there...

Eur/Jpy is also a candidate for a short 30 pips higher up...

GBP/USD is looking ready for a little short and am already in there, s/l 40 pips...

Aud/USD close to LTL on daily...

As you can see... no clear picture...

Am thinking of taking trades on each one of these close to S/R with tight s/l. The result being losses of up to 40 pips but winners of up to 100 pips... not bad. will decide soon, already short cable and U/J... Will short Eur/Jpy at 65 with s/l at 90...

This has been discussed numerous times and mentioned in books. In short - doing the oposite of loosing trades doesn't make a system/method profitable. Period.

Just be careful and don't knock us newbies. I have only been trading since 25th October and have 2 accounts, one taking more risk than the other. But both are in profit, the speculative one over 50% in 6 weeks, and the one where I follow my trading plan (most of the time) along with MM and RR, as I have read a lot before starting is at 26% in the same time frame.

Some people do great in the type of mkt we had today, others like me, well lets just say I couldnt trade my way out of a wet paper bag in todays mkt. I was lucky enough to make some pips early this morning but knew to get the heck out of dodge once it began to trade in a tight range so I went out and enjoyed life. It took me a few yrs and it cost a lot of money to learn how to do that.lol

That depends on what you are trading but with EU you should be able to find a system that gives you 50-75% win rate with profit factor 3 or more...

Another hint looing at the 5M chart with MA 360/105
SL 30/ TP 85

Would have given you 800 pips last 2 months and 50% profitable trades with a drawdown of 115 pips at maximum...

This is of course just one way of doing it and is def. not the best way but it works...

GL don't complicate it too much either..
