heads up to all FWIW if you haven't heard of this:

Bank managers across France were waiting a little nervously for the start of business on Tuesday after the former football star Eric Cantona urged his compatriots to stage a bank run and trigger a revolution.

Around 40,000 people in France have pledged to withdraw their money from the banks tomorrow. Another 9,000 in UK have pledged to do the same.

Of course, pledges are one thing and action another. Just fyi.

Not really bragging, sorry if it came across that way. I was just indicating that the main buying pressure we are seeing is from the weekly candle and what it implies. It will take a large news event to change the market sentiment for the next week or so.

The population of France is 62 million, just to put your numbers in perspective. This whole scenario sounds hilarious to me... soccer player gone anarchist?

nah just kind of kicking myself in the butt for not taking profit earlier. I tried to catch a swingtrade but maybe just staring at charts too long maybe overlooked something ealier.

Agreed... they are a hawkish bunch though, I highly doubt they would lower rates. Usually there is a large reaction to the statement though. If it is good news parity may be possible today. I'm actually usually very good at predicting what the RBA will do, including the last rate rise and a skipped lat rise in March I think? But, today, I have no idea. Probably a pretty flat statement, like, "current monetary policy is effective"

and yet, the story has legs and has made the papers, along with the calls from Max Keiser to buy silver and crash JP Morgan.
